This is a fun card, even if it is a bit underpowered. I expect this to be a niche card.

The number on the card are similar to Euler, meaning that you'll pay 1 more than needed with even strenght ices, unless you have the support of Leech.

The amusing thing with this card is that it offer Nathaniel "Gnat" Hall: One-of-a-Kind the possibility to trimming the deck of unwanted card, to allow you to trigger the ID. Abaasy also allows you to trigger Steelskin Scarring clicklessly. Otherwise, it is a good effect if you need a way to filter hand by getting rid of unwanted cards.

In faction, you have to compare this to Black Orchestra, Buzzsaw, Cradle and Utae. With the correct support, all those others in faction breakers are better. If you expect the meta to have lot of high strenght Code Gate and you want to have nearly no support for your breakers, then Abaasy would be good, otherwise, you should not take Abaasy.

Even in startup, Buzzsaw would usually be better. But again, using a low cost breaker to have the possibility of breaking Code Gate could be the correct choice, depending on your archetype.

Out of faction, there is no reason to look at Abaasy. Cat's Cradle, for the same price, is superior in every fashion. And shapers have much better code gate breakers. So, even if it was only 1 influence, it would still be a bad choice out of faction. Why is it not one influence? Is the filtering effect worth one more influence?

The art is well defined, strange and fitting the name of the card. It fit well with the quote. The quote feels powerful, which is sadly denied by the numbers on the card. Good design, maybe someone will come up with an idea to make this breaker an essential part of their deck. I personnaly like those type of niche cards. Quirky effect, quirky art and quirky quote. Fun!
