Thanks to TorpedoTyrus, OF15-15, Kikai and F3nr1s for this absolute banger of a deck! I made some tweaks and took it to a 15-person District Championship, where it went 3-0 across the day and came in 1st.

I had experimented with Crew Hosh shortly after RWR came out, but always found it a bit too slow and clunky. However, this version feels like it never runs out of gas, fuelled as it is by the amazing draw engine of Lago and Aniccam.

My main change to the deck was to drop Twinning and Cupellation for a couple of Stargates, to ensure that I could capitalise on a vulnerable R&D quickly and with minimal setup. I also dropped Eye for an Eye as a consequence, because I didn't love it without having any extra HQ multi-access to combo it with.

These changes were a trade-off but worked well for me, with Stargate winning two of my games and applying serious pressure in the third. There's probably enough flexibility in the influence, deckslots and memory to also run Cupellation and Eye for an Eye, which would give you more threat against HQ and the potential to snipe key operations, but I didn't miss them on the day.

Apart from that, most of my tinkering with the deck had to do with how to spend the influence. The two copies of Aniccam and Aumakua are locked in, but that leaves seven influence free to play with. Miss Bones was great in testing and I was happy to have at least one in the deck, and the Bahia Bands were also consistently good value (and occasionally very useful for tag-clearing). Pinhole was fine and probably necessary for Skunk Voids and the like.

However, Ashen Epilogue was little use in any of my testing or actual games, even though the deck frequently runs low or even empties out. I'd strongly consider cutting it and spending the influence elsewhere.

Lastly, although I'm usually a boring 45-card purist, I threw in the three Moshings at the last minute and went up to 48 cards. Would the deck have been better without them? Should I have cut other cards instead to make room? Hard to say, but they certainly helped the deck keep up its momentum, so I was happy to have them.

The matchups on the day were:

Round 2: Win vs AgInfusion.
Round 3: Win vs PE.
Round 6: Win vs Azmari (no, not that one).
