Shishu has good points. I'm going to add to their comments by saying that Research Grant is probably the wrong choice here: the only reson to play Research Grant over another 3/1 is if you have some way to get them all down at the same time. Also, Excalibur is unique; even if you install one and hold another one in hand to add subs to other Grail ice, the third one can definitely go. I also thing that this deck has way, WAY too much ice overall. 23 ICE is simply too much for a 44 card deck; remember, if you can't afford to rez it, it's worthless, and you don't have EtF's free money. Speaking of identities, you do realize that Cybernetics Division penalizes the corp's hand size as well, right? Because that is horribly antisynergistic with Grail ICE. If you're holding 2 pieces of Grail ICE in hand to pump up what's on the board, then you're essentially operating with a hand size of 2 cards, which sucks. I also don't think you have enough economy overall. Adonis/Eve have good long-term payout, but if you go broke rezzing them the runner will just walk in and trash them (at least, I would). At a bare minimum, add in some Hedge Funds. |

@Shishu those are all fantastic notes. I think I will test with those changes. |

Grail ICE with a max hand size of 4 seems ill-advised. I'd also consider reducing your agenda density. 12 agendas in a 44 card deck with no fast advance, multi-access defense, or ambushes/hostiles is just playing with fire. You could chuck 6 of your 3/1s for 3x NAPD Contract and use the extra 3 slots for Research Stations or something. |
I was about to say something about how all that bad pub is just going to make it easy to run, but then I realized that this deck probably wants to encourage runs.
Still, if you're going for the flatline, I would recommend reducing agenda density. You could cut Research Grant and Profiteering to fit in Project Vitruvius (so at least you'd have some recursion) and play 3 of Successful Demonstration, which works great when the runner is trying to avoid the flatline from Valley Grid. You might also want to consider replacing Excalibur with Ash 2X3ZB9CY to protect Valley Grid from being trashed. Considering it doesn't add subroutines when rezzed, it's not as good as the rest of the grail suite.
And I'd also recommend Viktor 2.0. They have to double click it to break ANY subroutines, so you're essentially putting them in a catch-22 if they have to click through it and can't pay the trace.
