Wasteland is decent economy with Chop Bot 3000 chopping almost every turn, but with the sting of virtual resources only your econ pool is a little limited, especially when your big move is to blow everything up. I'd give it maybe a C minus. Prey is probably worthwhile to blow up zero/low cost ICE. I haven't tried it in this build. In the last Apex I played it was a little lackluster, but that was in an older meta. Interdiction is pretty hot in Apex - it takes away surprise defensive upgrades, so you can time your Apocalypse around Crisium Grid and the like, while slowing down some Corporate Assets like Adonis Campaign. Oh ya and that Brain Cage brain damage can get prevented via Heartbeat. The Plascrete Carapace is mainly just because of how spicey BOOM! is right now everywhere, but the hand size and general dmg prevention all helps keep the Hangry AI hungry and alive. |

Need to mention that this deck inspiration came from Ironcache - his build is a little different but the Conspiracy suite + Faust // no Endless Hunger idea came from a little pow wow with him. |

The craziest thing to me is the thought of Apex having a Day Job. What's his Day Job? It can't be something that has a physical presence. Is Apex a remote programmer? Is his job creating ICE (that just so happens to have security holes easily exploited by Endless Hunger and Hunting Grounds)? He probably worked on Tollbooth, Asteroid Belt, Data Raven, Data Ward, Fire Wall, Wraparound... |

Also, didn't even notice the lack of Endless Hunger. Wouldn't one or two work in case you do run into Curtain Wall? |

I could see getting some decent value out of Endless Hunger post-apoc, although that breaker is extremely MU demanding so it's a lot harder to get the multiple copies of Reaver that you want up if you're running it. Verdict: could be worth a slot or two, but Faust is doing most of the heavy lifting here as your breaker. |

Dyson Mem Chip is fairly expensive for something that you're just going to blow up in an Apocalypse. Faust does all of the heavy lifting here for breakers. I don't think that link really matters for Apex. Sports Hopper isn't a terrible idea for draw, but the Reaver Chop Bot 3000 engine is usually feeding you 2-3 cards for free a turn anyway so I see Sports Hopper more as an emergency survival tactic or last second Faust Food for the apocalypse. |

I'm too afraid to run a suite of 1 of breakers that sit in my heap half the game. I hear Ark Lockdown is a thing |

I need to make a correction on myself here - Interdiction does not stop economic assets like Adonis/pad/ etc for the turn, there's a window after the runner turn ends before the corp turn begins where they can rez. Basically what Interdiction is doing here is stopping surprise Crisium Grid or Caprice Nisei etc rezzes for the Apocalypse or remote runs. It's a more versatile but weaker version of Rumor Mill basically. |
For those who don't speak binary:
Title: "Apex"
Description:
"""
Apex rules.
This deck is designed to apocalypse mercilessly, then recur its breakers via the Anarch conspiracy suite.
Reaver Chop Bot with Apex's raw ability to draw along with Wasteland for bucks.
Seems decent against most stuff minus assetspam.
