Taking Kit Back to School

More fun than it looks like it should be. It's a criminal in shaper, which you probably already knew.

The combo is janky as I'll get out, but it's been tuned over time for setup purposes. London Library lets you install Femme Fatale for free, choosing an ice to bypass; the first Femme Fatale install becomes a free click, thanks to Autoscripter; the second click repeats the combo; the third click runs a server; the last two clicks fetch back the Femmes. Clickless econ keeps the engine going, and "pass" turns become deckdigging. The combo synergies with Rielle "Kit" Peddler: Transhuman's "This is a code gate!" pretty well, yeah? It's the dream, man. And don't be afraid to throw away part of the engine on an "all-in" turn- Sometimes it takes one of those moments where they thought you'd only check the remote, and you suddenly hit three servers.

But seriously. An early baby or Daily Casts fuels some digging for a Zu. Run blank servers till you get one, throw it down for a buck and that one ice is no longer going to lock you out. They have two ice now, and the inner one isn't a code gate! Test Run a Femme, take a peak, and make them nervous. Throw down London Library, then let them stare in fear. It's two clicks a turn to bypass a piece of ice: It's an Inside Job anywhere you want in the server, each turn. Sync it up with LLDS Processor, and suddenly that expensive buffing on Femme Fatale isn't killing you.

Escher sings here. Mess up their attempts to throw you off by rearranging the servers in a more favorable manner. Chances are you'll see HQ when you want to, and if you aren't, you have R&D and remotes to peek into.

Diesel, Astrolabe and Symmetrical Visage fuel the card draw. The hardest part is going through the deck quickly enough. The constant threat of Same Old Thing helps bounce your multiaccess back into opportunities. Test Run helps find and bounce Femmes out of heap or stack. Multiple Levy AR Lab Access means you can Levy aggressively, getting critical econ back into the deck, especially when the first pass pulls combo pieces out and thins it. It also replaces the dulldrum you're holding when you just want a new hand that's more likely to be helpful- cause you already tore through it. Timing becomes more important here- leave The Maker's Eye as a threat, or Levy AR Lab Access to get some money back?

Paricia actually does heavy, heavy work here. You don't want to pay to trash things, but killing econ helps so much. Thin influence means no importing Scrubber.

Deck slots are tight or I'd add a current. First replace is Astrolabe- generally I'll either want two Paricia and don't need ZU.13 Key Master, or one and one. Data Folding is easy here. With Daily Casts and a baby, the tempo hit becomes less painful. But this deck is about one thing: Tempo. So please, make any tunes with that in mind. John Masanori feels like it should fit, but I don't quite have the skills for it. I'm trying to make it work somehow, though.

And seriously, the feels when this jank fires off. Play it as a Kit with a Zu. And all the Inside Jobs you could throw a stick at.

But...but... why ZU.13 and not Cyber-Cypher? You have London Library!

I've played around with Kit + London Library + Cyber-Cypher + Femme Fatale. If you're lucky and the server you're after is only one ICE deep, yeah it's nice to bounce CyCy off it. But since this deck has no fracter and no AI, Femme is your ONLY option to get past a second or third piece of ICE. Trying to Library both Femme and CyCy, then run, then reclaim them, will chew up your entire turn even with Autoscripter.

Especially in this breaker-light deck, better to just use the Library for Femme, and permanently install ZU.13 (or in my case, Torch)

Damien- exactly my thoughts! I tried cyber cypher but too much Mu or clicks, and Gordian was too anti-tempo to slam down early game. Deck spots are ridiculously tight.

Thanks for speccin the deck folks! Any suggestions are welcome.

At this point my biggest objection is that you named it "back to school" and you didn't include Study Guide !
