Premise: a high economy deck that also runs for cheap.
Features:
e3 Feedback Implants: with Grappling Hook, any ice becomes immediately broken for 1 credit. With Clone Chip recursion, this is your go-to deal for strong ice. Overmind will be your breaker of choice for weaker ice, which retains power counters for longer with the Implants installed. It also makes Aurora a bit less bad, but really Aurora is only in here to combat Wraparound.
Connection economy: getting Kati Jones into play is your first priority. Once she's in, you're essentially getting a burst economy every 3-4 turns which you can use to set up (early game) and threaten runs (late game). Underworld Contact is great once you get the Dyson Mem Chips happening, which also help to boost Overmind power counters. And once you're set up, Calling in Favors will net you more profit than Sure Gamble would.
HQ Pressure: I've opted with HQ Pressure due to a lack of influence, mainly. I'd love a Medium or R&D Interface, but I'd have to forego something for it, and this deck is working well enough as it is. Perhaps the draw cards aren't necessary, nor the ZU.13 Key Master as Overmind can deal with code gates too.
Ice Negation: Emergency Shutdown and Crescentus do great work in keeping the corp poor, and making sure I only need to recur my Grappling Hook combo once every five or so turns.
Strengths:
Breaking through ice
HQ Pressure
Economy
Constant threats to run on remotes
Weaknesses:
Trap decks
Finite breaking opportunities (once you use all of your Grappling Hooks and Clone Chips, you need to Levy immediately)
Early game economy
Questionable Additions:
Diesel/Quality Time: I feel safer with these in as I can't rely on drawing an early Mr. Li. Also helps me quickly draw into early Grappling Hooks and Crescentus' when I need to threaten.
Sneakdoor Beta: mainly there as a late game surprise for heavily iced HQ servers who feel safe with Agendas in hand. Having one of it, though, makes it less than reliable, and it also isn't conducive to good Overmind play. I will usually mulligan if this is in my starting 9.
Desperado: Given the great economy in this deck already, I feel this console isn't helping me as much as, say, The Toolbox would. This being said, I don't have the influence, and my only other choices are Doppelgänger (which doesn't help my run strategies) and Logos (which really needs to be out very early in the game to be useful). I am considering a switch to Logos for future though, after this version has been tried and tested.
