Deck valid after Fourth Rotation |
Fastest way to give flatline a runner with Punitive Counterstrike. Get rich, jam behind one ice and see who get the other faster.
Mulligan plan : you want Mwanza City Grid or ices.
Of note, this deck is countered by Guru Davinder. Citadel Sanctuary is also a problem, but to a lesser extend, since deck that use them usually go a bit slower. An NO ONE use Jarogniew Mercs (which is a shame, because it is good).
Put Anansi on HQ and the remote. Mwanza City Grid goes first on remote, then on HQ.
With Bacterial Programming and Consulting Visit, you should have access to Punitive Counterstrike early.
Shenanigan : try to score a Obokata Protocol naked, if you have creds and two Punitive Counterstrike (on of which can be replaced by Consulting Visit). Let the runner score it and then flatline them.
Skateboard trick : trash two Bacterial Programming and make money. If the runner has 0 agendas points and run archive, they get 6 points and you get to mill yourself and see 14 cards, to get the Punitive Counterstrike. Then, do 6 meat damages.
For non interacting runners, try to score behind Anansi.
Fun, fast and furious.
Cheers!

Another player, SageTellah, has a different version (which is probably better) using Neurospike. My version is more "all in" on the credit differential to get to use Punitive Counterstrike early (with 3x Consulting Visit). It allow the deck to go fast in my opinion. Thanks for your comments! PS Sports Hopper is a great card to have in a runner deck as a tech card, since it will save you from Neurospike and probably from Punitive Counterstrike and BOOM!. It is not played often enough. |
You can't put a Mwanza City Grid on a remote (the card is limited to HQ and R&D).
Sports Hopper also seems like a card that would potentially counter the deck (you use it in between the two Punitives, or upon stealing 6 points) – it's seeing play in some decks, particularly those which need link.
