This just in - I've finished testing all the cards with this ID and came to a conclusion. Not Competitive or Viable for Tournaments.
Advanceable ICE still a no-go no matter what you use as an econ package.
So, with my testing and build, the focus was to kill the runner.
In practice however, I came to an even more exciting result. Decking the runner and eliminating key recursion pieces for certain decks.
It was often that with a scored/swapped Cleaners. The pressure intensified on the Runner to be set up and have a backup plan in-case something goes awry. Much like using Sports Hopper after hitting Snare after eating 2 meat on encountering ICE. I've won games where the runner had no way to continue running since there was no longer a deck to draw from thanks to Prisec in scoring remote.
The Cleaners being scored/stolen is crucial for the ID to function but so does countering the currents a runner may use, especially Employee Strike. So Hostile Takeover and Chronos Project is necessary and readily available counter to just playing another current, which is haphazard at mid to late game (looking at you Housekeeping). Thankfully Paywall Implementation assists on the recoup of lost funds to Advancing ICE.
Dedicated Response Team is a nice Wake-Up call to runners who NEED TO BE IN, but don't wanna handle the consequences. It's quite valuable and is much more viable than using Zealous Judge in the respect that it actually activates on Runner at an inopportune moment. Furthermore a 3 trash cost helps a Hard-Hitting News follow-up that employs a mighty tax of both credits and hand refill. Plenty of time to score out a key agenda or risk Scorch disruption.
All in all, you make do with the 12 influence intelligently and you can get some nice wins just by outlasting instead of out moneying the runner.
Also Hollywood Renovation is BANANAS in this deck and quite the powerhouse!
PS: Wanna try to use Underway Renovation in this deck with either Blacklist or Navi Mumbad Grid for those jankier Runner builds.

Yes, it helps that this is a new ID and people don't know what to expect. But had he scored out a Cleaners prior to those events, that's a 7-damage run. That's taxing, yo. I think the Traffic Accident becomes a BOOM! next month. |

I also would be tempted to slot in Psychic Field over possibly hard hitting or SEA just to punish checking unadvanced cards. Very cool deck. Is this the tweaked version of whats on Netrunnerdb? |

Hi Will, I tried to put your Force of Will deck into this identity (killed 3 people with it) since I couldn't think of a different win condition for the deck. Glad to see you put effort into making this identity playable! Hows your game plan go econ wise? It looks pretty light and it seems your actually advancing ice rather than playing Shipment from Kaguya which seems a pain. How does this deck deal with Siphon since Andy is now back in the meta? |

@Myriad Currently testing with Media Blitz to replace both Snares and adding a Ghost Branch for testing.

Really makes you feel like you can fight the demons of Mars all by yourself. That's the Weyland way. |

Ok I cannot even get this off the ground. Any suggestions? I'm always under keyhole/siphon/DLR pressure before I get any econ going. |

I do not approve of allowing a tagged Data Leak Reversal runner to go unpunished any more than a Keyhole to run willy-nilly on an unprotected R&D. Even Account Siphon will respect a Dedicated Response Team. You can make a SEA Source another Hard-Hitting News if necessary. If you must swap out a couple Snare! for any mix of influence costing cards you need. Another Jackson Howard perhaps? Some Project Junebug or Ghost Branch. Maybe 1-2 more advance-able ICE would knock out their key cards. |

I feel like a singleton Contract Killer is an idea. Never advancing a Ronin seems like a good idea, and it could blap a Film Critic or otherwise be immensely strong. |

yeeess I've been fiddling with Builder of Nations, looking at The Cleaners + Media Blitz, Snare!, Housekeeping and stupid stuff like Searchlight. None of it has worked.
So, Will, what's the game plan? Are you building a remote and scoring out or just sticking DRT in it? Are you outmoneying them, if so, how? Why so many 2 ofs? Have you tried Searchlight - it's resistant to Parasite, which is what hurts the Builder of Nations plan pretty well, and then taxes Anarchs more than it has a right to at a single credit to rez because they don't have the link.
Either way I'm sleeving this one up.
