Trying out the new noiseshop badness from tyrellian, check his write up for how it all works - its a great lesson in noiseshop mill aggro and how to be the baddest motherfucker in the room.

What's your opinion of Earthrise over Wyldside?

@Fl3xbyts tentative. Normally I would choose wyldside almost exclusively, but in this new noise... that single click is better used elsewhere. As ty said a lot better than I can - the point of this style of anarch is the surgical run, buffered either side by hard mill/control. Going down to 3 clicks a turn does not allow that with these cards, which granted is completely different from previous noiseshop.

I like what you've done here with the +1 Incubator; my opponents are purge happy so it rarely gets up past 2 or 3, but a 2x Incubator trash to a Medium run would be SWEET. If I were to go to 46 I'd do that too, and I'magonna think about it.

We've been chatting about the Darwin vulnerability on my forum - I had an idea for you. Throw in a 1xSame Old Thing.

That would give you a bonus Deja Vu just for Darwin (+ another virus), something cheap for Aesops resale if you need credits and the ability to I've Had Worse at a pinch if you are getting in to a rubbish draw. It's like a joker in the pack, and will protect you from seeing Darwin when you already have Darwin down and charged.

Remember that since you can tutor with Djinn you don't need multiple copies of Darwin for consistency, so you're really just worried about program trash ice. And they're not gonna go for your Darwin; they're gonna wipe out your Progen with Hivemind which is the beating heart of your Virus Cascade.

BTW - OMG - is that the name of the deck?

@tyrellian re: darwin, mate thats bang on point, of course, it makes sense now. Iv been thinking about this like classic noiseshop where we DIDNT HAVE A DECENT TUTOR. Now with the new virus configuration, djinn is actually decent, yes a singleton of darwin is more than adequate.

Yes thats the name of my deck, all my virus heavy noise decks have been called malware analysis + a version number, and it seemed only correct to continue the tradition while trying your deck out :)

'Virus Cascade' is a boss term by the way.

Also, regarding Incubator as a double, iv found in my own play testing with inc that one is scary clicking away, two is utterly terrifying and almost guarantees a purge, which is a beautiful smash into the corps tempo. Going from 0 to 4 in only two turns is nice too. Really though, 2 incs allows you to repeat some horrible virus burst, not just double down.

I really like the idea of 1 Same Old Thing as a fourth Deja Vu. I've also been thinking of Singularity as an answer to times when you're not quite sure when they have an agenda or a trap advanced. Singularity lets you run that without fear and destroy a scoring server for the future. Not sure how often that situation comes up, though.

I'm gonna tweak the list a bit for a tournament tomorrow afternoon. Sure Gambles for Day Jobs, Scheherezades for Grims, and try to figure out something for a Same Old Thing and a Singularity.
