Painted Quetzalcoatlery - 1st, Swansea Store Champs

InanimateLog 448

This was the deck I took to the store championships in Swansea, going 3-1 and netting first place out of 10 players.

Paintbrush's purpose is twofold: to break non-barriers and AI hate with Quetzal, and to make ice vulnerable to whatever utensil I'm holding. Wyldside + Pancakes + Faust needs no introduction.

As for changes, I'd go -1 Day Job, -1 Progenitor, +1 D4v1d, +1 Hacktivist Meeting. I'd love another e3 Feedback Implants so maybe -1 Utopia Shard, -1 Paintbrush, +1 Self-modifying Code to accommodate it.

For the curious, here's how the rounds went:

1st round, win: Cybernetics Division
I stole a Self-Destruct Chips in a naked remote, followed soon after by a Utopia Shardment in R&D. They had double Puinitive Counterstrike in hand but not the money to kill me. A third agenda in R&D gave me the win.

2nd round, win: NEH Astrobiotics
An early Hacktivist Meeting helped a lot, ditching 4 cards into the Archives. Any ice that went on R&D got destroyed quickly and a Medium dig closed out the game.

3rd round, loss: IG Grinder
The deck ran very little ice and I was consistently getting 4-card R&D accesses (with the Museum of History shuffle). However, if I would have had the sense to realise agendas were in an open Archives (which I never checked), and that I should probably deal with the quadruple-advanced Ronin that I knew was a Ronin, things might have gone differently. I mostly attribute this loss to me being a colossal moron.

4th round, win: Foodcoats
They rezzed an Eve Campaign that I couldn't feasibly trash and this snowballed into quickly setting up ice. The final Hail Mary run on R&D stole 2 Project Vitruvius for the win.
