IDKFA (Industry Doesn't Kill, it Fast Advances.)

I love this deck archetype, if for no other reason than that it enabled a thoroughly silly fast advance turn out of Jinteki. The turn: Gain 1 from PAD Campaign; topdeck a Braintrust; reveal and install it with Political Dealings, gaining 2 from Turtlebacks; advance it three times, gaining a click from Jeeves; use 3 Mumba Temples to rez 2 CVS, purging Clot through a SacCon; triggering Team Sponsorships to reinstall the CVSs; and then... click to draw?

The core combo is Jeeves and Political Dealings. Together, they let you score any of the agendas from the top of the deck. If it's one of 3/2s, you even get an extra click to do something else. Everything else just supports this silliness.

Pālanā Agroplex improves our chances of getting the cards we need, especially agendas once we have Political Dealings down. It also makes the Museums pretty important, since they get overdrawn cards back and shuffle out of R&D lock.

Mumbad Virtual Tour is for annoyance in Archives. When they go in to try to trash things, they have to trash this first. If they don't have 5 credits, they're probably having a bad time anyway. (Disclaimer: I'm not certain that Archives always flips faceup before they access the root.)

Mumbad City Hall is doing the usual work for Temples and Museums, but it also gets us Jeeves and Mumbad Virtual Tour. And that's enough that we can probably use it 3 (or 4) times a turn.

I'm fairly certain this deck isn't good. In fact, I haven't even tested it in this form. (I was impure, using Shocks instead of Mumbad Virtual Tour.) It has a hard time against Whizzard, and just folds to Salsette Slums. But it's ridiculous if it gets set up, and I suspect there may be something to it. This is the deck in a somewhat pure (definitely sub-optimal) form, so that it might be improved upon.

Like all servers, the runner gets to choose the order of accessing things. So if they know you have the virtual tour there and don't have enough credits to pay the increased trash cost, then they can access it first, flip the archives and go on their merry way.

this is evil, I love it!

@enk I agree that makes some sense, but seemed weird with the ruling that the runner can switch between accessing cards in Archives and upgrades, and it was hard to find a ruling. This morning, I finally found a thread where jakodrako says that cards flip before any accesses.

would you consider Improved Protein Source once it's out? would allow you to win with 3 scores, but also provides the same potential for the Runner, along with probably 5-10 extra credits for them each game

@aleph_c oh yeah, I forgot that flipping is separate from accessing. Sorry for making you find the ruling, but thanks for clarifying it.

Why no eli over ichi? and then, why Mumbad Virtual Tour over idk....caprice, or more ices?

@moistloaf Yeah, it's absolutely worth trying. Getting a deck slot would be really nice, and closing the game out faster seems good. The extra card would definitely need to be defensive though, otherwise I think the Protein Sources will lose you more game than they'll win.

@Simone"Suka" Mostly because my Elis were in another deck. Gear checking for sentries is also pretty useful. The Tours are there to punish a successful Archives run. Caprice/ICE would help prevent the success in the first place, but that's putting all your eggs in one basket, which this deck is doing enough of with it's scoring plan.
