3-2 OKORINA Runner Deck - Human First

The ID is Human First

This is the runner deck I took to Sanjays OKORINA event where the Idenities are unique connections. I finished 6th out of 29 players. And was top Anarch.

I've always liked Human First, running it in the days of Whizard to dull the hit from stealing NAPD, problem with it was it was always a bit clunky deck space or as a 1 of it didnt show up when it was still relevent. Starting with it however is a lot nicer.

The deck was 45/15

Game 1 vs CTZ

CTZ was on Glenn Station deck that aims to hide Gotay and store it out with biotic RPC. I put the pressure on and get ahead early. He scoops Government Takeover back and sets up scoring it next turn, I snipe it with a wheel access.

Game 2 vs Rustryder

Rustryder was on Architect Deployment Test getting a free Fairchild 3 on rnd. Afetr some back and forth scoring, I hammer HQ and got to 4 points like them, they IAA behind a Fairchild and 3 unrezzed ice on the remote and I whiff on RnD. Apparently I missed 3 pointers in HQ on a few accesses in an aggressive turn eariler.

Round 3 vs Zombie

Zombie was playing Voting Machine Initiative, the deck I almost took. MCA, Load testing, HHN, Boom!. Its very tense. I made a silly run at once point and get tagged to hell and forced down to 1 click. I run HQ and trash the boom. Lucky. Karma however stops me accessing any of the 3 pointers in HQ after that. So I find one in archives instead to win.

Game 4 vs Cpt_Nice

Another Glenn Station another day. I come out aggressive and need to keep trashing MCAs to stop the turn of, click to 3, pop for clicks, unhost goverment takeover, install, RPC.

Game 5 vs Adumbbrick

Rebranding Team adblitz combo. Apparently if Ad Blitz read "assets" and not "Advertisements" it would be silly who knew. Anyway they gained 300 credits drew they're entire deck, installed the upgrades with Advanced Assembly Lines and Team Sponsorship and did the sports combo to 7. On turn 4, Whampoa Reclamation and Shannon Claire meant I could never really trash anything cause blitz just brings it back which they have every turn. I slotted Archives Interface for this deck. Saw it every game apart from this one... cheers deck. (Oh because Ad blitz gives you X install and rezes one after another you can cycle 2 AALs or AAL and Lily Lockwell up to X times by keep overwriting them It's a silly card thats only not been broken because no Advert has been printed to abuses it).

This was a fun format and a nice refreshing break from the standard metagame. Thanks for a fun event @sanjay.
