I really like Adam. Starting with three Resources in play, granted with drawbacks, but also with some real good advantages, seems good. I plan to make it work. On some level.

This is the Beta version of the deck, only played it solitaire so far so I have no idea how it will play out against an opponent. I will get some games in this weekend so we'll see how it goes from there.

The idea is to use the Directives inert advantages to the max and try to play around the drawbacks. So early turns should look like this:

  1. Play run event or run a server. Use Ability from Always Be Running if you have to.
  2. Play Resources, try to get an Public Sympathy or an early, good Brain Chip in play. Draw cards from Safety First by always ending your turn on at least one card below max hand size. Stay broke-ish, try to set up to have 2 credits to play a Dirty Laundry or other Run event card, but not being forced to scrap cards if you don't want to.

Later turns, when you don't have easy access to central servers anymore, you have to start building the board. Get better economy and bigger hand size. This way you can Stimhack into scoring servers and The Maker's Eye or Legwork the centrals.

It might show itself to be way light on breakers, but the influence runs out really, really fast with so few in faction/neutral cards to use. We'll see after a couple of runs.
