This deck went 4/4 in the the DracheNäscht GNK in Bern, in which I placed first. Latest legal pack was Fear the Masses, with MWL 1.0 active (though this deck is also 2.0 legal). My corp deck was All in.
Even though MWL 2.0 wasn’t active yet, I wanted to see whether I could drop the Clot from my previous build for a Political Operative (the Astro limit 1 per deck was already in effect).
Game 1
I went through almost my whole deck against Tuition Sucks. I could have played more passively to not get taxed out and just remote lock, but I wanted to close out the game. I had to pitch an Indexing early, and my two other Indexing only found one point each. Found a 2 and 3 pointer later on R&D and HQ, respectively.
Game 2
Played against a fast advance NEH. Found two Breaking News and a Beale through a single Indexing (I collected the Beale a turn later). After finding one more agenda, I got ready for my Notoriety turn, but already won on the R&D run.
Game 3
Against the same Blue Sun player that I faced in the regionals finals. That was the third matchup of ours decks, though he did change his significantly. I had a bad start and was outpaced economically. He then scored a High-Risk Investment, so I knew I’d have to win in a single turn. I waited for him to IAA an agenda, stole that three pointer and stole another three pointer through Indexing. I was ready to die, but he had all the pieces for a Power Shutdown combo except Jackson (which I put at the last position of the Indexing). I won through Notoriety a turn later (though "FTE"would have been better that game).
Game 4
Played against PE. I was still never in danger of dying as due to Deus X. Started cleaning up his shell game on a Hyperdriver turn and got up to 6 points. Wanted to close out the game with Notoriety, but already won the game by bidding 0 on a Future Perfect Psi game on HQ.
