Harishchronos Entocol

mcg 1077

For the Diversified Portfolio event I decided that I wanted to play on hard mode, and choose only IDs from the bottom tier. But then...

justwhy

I thought about some sort of Mwanza City Grid Haarpsichord Studios: Entertainment Unleashed list (which I saw on stream somebody else went for) but it wasn't doing it for me. Then I remembered an old entry from my 'take a good deck and make it worse in another ID folder', where I tried to replicate the Chronos Protocol: Selective Mind-mapping kill deck in Harishchandra Ent.: Where You're the Star. With all that influence, how could it go wrong?

Actually, it went surprisingly well. In game 1 I had a 50/50 shot of the kill but chose the wrong card. In round two the combo came off and I was able to kill my fellow Iain Stirling: Retired Spook player. Round three saw me simply rush passed an Az deck that was struggling to find money. Then in the final round I had a very tight game against Chisel Null: Whistleblower who used Labor Rights to trash about 27 pieces of my ice. Even with all that, they had to land a 1 in 14 Hail Mary run to win (which they did). 2-2 with Harishchandra? I'll take it.

Really fun tournament. Would love to play again. Thanks to the European gang, particularly @Longi and @Krasty, for organising.

Hey, thanks for attending and for bringing such an underated IDs. For next event we consider pushing players to use those IDs even more. We might actually add the unspent ID points to the final swiss points achieved during tournament in order to re-evaluate the final standings.
