My take on CtMatty. 3-1 on the day, all wins via BOOM!.

The idea was to make trashing Drago Ivanov a bad time, with a combination of the NBN: Controlling the Message ability, stacks of Ping, and stacks of Prisec.

In reality, drip and Misdirection are the real prison. The current lat boat decks have way too many outs to deal with this, which is typically popping Stoneship Chart Room every turn to dig for Misdirection. It feels terrible to have them Into the Depths your remote, boat your pings, and install Misdirection, which they then use to clear the 5 tags they just picked up. Any follow up HHN just gets cleared by drip + click for 2 credits + Misdirection.

BOOM! means you have to catch the runner unprepared for the 2nd tag (i.e. Ping on a last click run), and it's rough to score out, meaning the runner can just sit back and build, clearing single tags with drip and only running if you leave Drago Ivanov advanced. Even with 2 counters, you still need 8 (3 for La Costa Grid, 1 to advance, 4 for BOOM!), and this deck feels pretty poor since it doesn't get the tag credits from NBN: Reality Plus.

Seamless Launch is probably better for the double tag Drago Ivanov turn, but I wanted to believe that trashing La Costa Grid with the NBN: Controlling the Message trace would matter.

I do not recommend playing this. I believe it's way better to focus on single tagging in order to negate Misdirection entirely.
