HexNet 5

Instead of Seamlesses, I invested my influence in Bran and Drafter to tax Propeller/Revolver/Ika. I expected a lot of Aumakua, so I teched two Mavirus which did almost nothing all day.

Round 2 - RocketCrocodile with Seb (win, 1-0)
I score agendas while they struggle to find breakers and turbine in their 59 cards.

Round 4 - jfoley with Lat (lose, 1-1)
I have an awkward starting hand, and lead Manegarm, Rashida, Tatu Bola all on the remote on T1. I lose the 1 in 3 steal of a Bacterial from HQ. The Rashida doesn’t draw me enough gas.

Round 5 - btgood2me with Lat (win, 2-1)
He can’t seem to get the cards needed to challenge my servers. I ran 2 Mavirus out of respect for Aumakua and the only thing they did all day was reset a 12-credit Fermenter here.

Round 7 - goodknite with Mercury (lose, 2-2)
First game ever against Mercury. I’m light on ice and can’t secure the centrals and remote. He inevitably takes the game through a series of 2-3 card accesses on R&D.

Round 9 - Runaway with Lat (tie, 2-2-1)
I have a lead all game. It’s 5-2 when time is called. I have an agenda in the remote that I have to protect, as well as R&D from Deep Dive. Between the Ag ability and a Nisei counter I think I can do it, but with Alarm Clock’s free run on HQ, they have just enough clicks to Deep Dive a 3 pointer to tie the game. Feels bad.

Round 11 - Sindarin with Hoshiko (lose, 2-3-1)
I’ve never played this many games of Netrunner in a day; my brain was thoroughly melted. I had trouble tracking board state and made critical mistakes — going too poor rezzing a Bran on R&D so I couldn’t protect the remote, and later I didn’t notice his Takobi gaining counters while I was resolving Tatu Bola’s which ruined the math on the final turn.
