A Bit of Knowledge For a Lot of Chaos v1.1

WardOfTheWoods 710

After taking this to a game night kit event and playing a bunch of other games with it, I'm loving this build so far. MaxX is definitely the ID to use Faust. Quetzal isn't a bad option for Faust either, but e3 Feedback is a must. The only game I've lost with this deck so far was the very first time I piloted it, playing against an aggressive Weyland BWBI deck that quickly became too taxing for Faust to handle. It also didn't help that I aggressively used Duggar's to find the pieces I needed and burned through both Levys within a few turns that first game.

I've since learned a few things about this strategy: for starters, use Duggar's the turn before you plan to start running. Even if you have Amped Up and Stim Dealer, make sure you have the cash necessary to pay for the e3 Feedbacks. Liberated Account with Career Fair was amazing, and I often had more than enough cash to get into servers with ease.

2 Levy AR Lab Accesses is the perfect number. I tried it with 3 and found that I was missing that econ package and the e3 Feedbacks too often. If you can pace your draws, you can easily make them last long enough to establish an R&D lock with Medium. I found that I was missing ICE destruction and switched from Ekomind to Grimoire. This deck usually only needs 5 memory to run (Faust, 3x Origami, Corroder or Cuj.0) so having the extra memory for Viruses came in very handy. Plus, destroying Komainu is a big deal for this deck (trust me, you don't want to be paying 12+ credits to get through one every turn).

This deck melts through mid-range ICE with ease. I played against a Foundry deck that normally is very taxing to get through. He had stacked 5 ICE (2 grail, Mother Goddess, 2 NEXT) on R&D and boy was I glad to have Faust. I could make multiple runs a turn with this rig fully set up and got through most servers with ease.
