"Express" my @**!

Shade Delano 12

Prepaid VoicePAD and Desperado are back and our favourite Japanese hedgehog-man is loving it.

This deck is designed with one purpose in mind: to harvest obscene value from Dirty Laundry. No, not really. It is pretty decent, even if it is excruciatingly slow. Not a very viable tournament deck.

This is a long game deck that requires quite a bit of setup but can be devastating if you're not rushed to death before. Be diligent in Siphoning corps to hell and derezzing all their snazzy ICE, profit off open remotes/archives and make boatloads of money to set up for the late game. As usual, be bold in running but don't take unnecessary risks to get that Sectest paper. Never run last click, especially since you're relying on John Masanori. Use Indexing into #Mad Dash to close or bring up to match point. Use Exploit to ravage the corp's board when the opportunity arises and adopt the typical tactical playstyle that a criminal should. Don't hesitate to shutdown an ICE on archives/remote if it means giving you another avenue to Security Testing.

Matches:

Game 1: vs. Consulting Blue Sun (Calvin)

He opened with Oversight AI into Curtain Wall, but an early indexing gave me a good idea of what I should brace for: Midseasons/BOOM! Running Consulting Visit means it really doesn't matter whether I bury the Midseasons or not, so I do my best to keep up with him in credits. Eventually, an open R&D yields an Oaktown, so I'm Midseasoned down to zero creds and 3 tags. Thankfully, Dirty Laundry allows for insane recovery and I managed to clear 3 tags, pulling me out of Scorched Earth/BOOM's crosshairs. Shutting down another 2 OAI'd Curtain Walls means denying him a bulk of his money and I Legwork into 2 a Globalfood and Atlas, and continue to Siphonspam to keep his R&D unprotected, eventually topdecking another Oaktown FTW.

Game 2: vs. Foodcoats with Biotic (Karry)

Both of us set up aggresively, but by mid-game he had already rushed out 3 agendas bringing up to 6 points versus a cheesy NAPD I Inside Job'd off a remote. Being on game point vs FA means I had to aggressively check any and all remotes. Thankfully, Aaron Marrón has been doing plenty of work and nabs me tons of value from Siphons and I shutdown all his medium to big ICE, leaving him with not more than 2 ICE rezzed on the board at any one time. I headlock his credits hard fearing a Biotic FA but at this point I've shut him down so often that I'm able to Sectest and single access R&D with impunity. Single accesses off HQ nab me 4 more points and by the late game I finally draw my Indexing. It takes 2 Indexings (once through Same Old Thing), an Exploit and 6 more turns (to eventually dig out the agendas inconveniently stacked at the bottom of R&D. Sometimes Indexings whiff man.

Game 3(ish): vs Martian Sleepaway Tennin

3(ish) because we didn't actually manage to play my Runner game in Swiss thanks to my shitty corp game taking 67 minutes. Jon agreed to play the game for kicks while Top 4s were playing, just to kill time. Thanks, man!

Sectest hoses Shocks in Archives and Tennin's ability somewhat. Unfortunately, I didn't have an AI breaker, so Excalibur became an immense irritation. Thankfully, due to his only gearchecks being Ice/Fire Wall, a Paperclip sufficed. As in game 2, this was a rubbish slog of him reaching match point early and keeping on the backfoot throughout the 2nd half of the game, my indexings whiffing, and getting single accesses on HQ to pull out points that hard way. I had the most underwhelming Exploit in the history of man (Ice Wall, Ice Wall, Excalibur) but all for the sake of keeping him on low credits to prevent an unpleasant Trick of Light into Braintrust/Medical Breakthrough. Managing your Siphonspam is important particularly for decks like this that are threatening on low credit thresholds. My last 4 turns ended up being Run HQ, Run HQ, Run HQ, Run R&D (through an Excalibur). My credits topped out at 49, so it was a good laugh anyway.

Final Thoughts: ZU.13 Key Master can be replaced with Passport, Mad Dash with "Freedom Through Equality", Emergency Shutdown with Brute-Force-Hack and swap the Lucky Find with Sure Gamble and add a Feedback Filter if you're expecting a prison/thousand cuts match, you can afford it. MCA Informant is not often a problem cos you don't mind them spending 4 credits anyway. Just don't float too many counters pn Aaron Marrón, you only need to 2 for safety.

Nice deck! Since you have so much derez card, ever consider a 1x copy of High-Stakes Job?

@str4atman Worth testing out, may be worth swapping out the Lucky Find for it and freeing some more influence. Better net returns but possibly higher investment, as corps are more likely to rez ICE against you to tax out the run.
