Driving Lessons- 7th at Warwick CO

The semi-updated version of the Deep Dive Lat I took to UK Nats. (which is code for I forgot to make most of the changes I'd made on Jnet).

The only actual change I made was turning an Into the Depths into a Compile - Cobrabubbles is absolutely right that this card is stellar here for fetching Pichação, for a last gasp run, or for even sometimes allowing early aggression you should have no business being able to do.

The other changes were a Prepaid into a Simulchip and the Clot into a Hannah "Wheels" Pilintra - the chip gives you more resiliency, more skateboard tricks, more cheap installs, and is all around much more useful than the third PAD. Changing the Clot is definitely a dodgier play - Wheels allows for incredibly explosive turns (including one very fun one in testing where the ice with Pichação was swapped onto a remote by Thimblerig so I used Wheels to still click-positively pass it and jack out!) but losing the Clot means you're more vulnerable to Weyland Rush decks or to Shipment from Vladisibirsk if your opening hand doesn't keep up. It's probably personal taste, but I do love stealing 6 points in a single 6 or 7 click turn!

Looking at the list now, the Networking should probably become a second Bahia Bands - the card pulls a similar role of letting you clear tags more efficiently but is also stellar in other matchups rather than dead. If you're the skateboard tricks-ing type, you too can also experience the thrills and power-play of one-upping Ob in the unexpected netrunner kickflips department. Before taking click one, stare at your hand for about a minute and call a judge. (The question was if I got the Aniccam draw when installing it off Bahia bands if an event hasn't been trashed yet, and the answer is yes!)

This list, like my Corp, went 3-1 on the day. As I said in that write-up, thank you so so so so much harmonbee for all the work you put into it both silly and recklessly practical (including heading to the room early to check the heating is on)! Thank you so much also to QEH for everything you do, you're all amazing people! Thank you so much to my opponents for some absolutely intense games of Netrunner! (Snare! in PD is an incredibly cool choice that kicked my teeth in when I lost 3 money events from hand and watched my tempo shrivel up!) Here's to more exceptional Netrunner and meeting wonderful people in 2024!
