This is my third attempt to make Edward Kim work. It's not as flashy as a noise virus deck and probably wont win any tournaments but hey it's a start.
Any feedback would be awesome!
Some click based economy with Day Job, but most of it is sustained drip with Underworld Contact, Cyberfeeder and Spinal Modem. Edward's got that sick 1 link, might as well use it. I went with Access to Globalsec because it's dirt cheap, less drag on deck economy speed. Daily Casts also makes in into the deck for some nice drip econ sweetness. Last econ card is the venerable Stimhack, when you absolutely need to get into a sever.
Inject is pretty legit card draw but it's dangerous might end up throwing away two mimics! But hey that's what Trope and Déjà Vu are for. If I need a program real bad I can fish it out of archives no problem. Clone Chip makes an appearance as a click less way bring a breaker online in case of emergency, installing a D4v1d with a clone chip seems a funny way to bust ice.
Corroder, Mimic and ZU.13 Key Master make the core of my breaker suite, with Net-Ready Eyes coming in to help them power though close calls. Wont get me by an archer, or a tollbooth, but that's what Parasite and Datasucker are for. I've also got knight in there, for bigger ice. ZU.13 Key Master Costs 0 MU if I've got 2 link, so that synergizes well with my economic engine.
(Did some research and there are only 3 or 4 ice that are above strength 7. I think it's 5 total if you count curtain wall, so knight is pretty legit if slow. It taxes you for clicks which sucks. Also people can trash him by installing over ice which makes me sad!)
Thrown in Spinal Modem and Cyberfeeder and you've got 5 reoccurring credits for ice breakers, plus net ready eyes and maybe some data sucker tokens. Looks to me like a good way to break ice on the regular.
I'm not too afraid of taking brain damage from Spinal Modem, it only occurs during a run and while there are some really good trace ice out there most of them are sentries around strength 6, easy enough to break though if you're running smart.
(There are 30 trace ice, only about 5 of those are above strength 5 . None are above strength 8, Checkpoint is strength 7 but it's a code gate so that could be tricky, but it only had 1 subroutine, so it would be 8 to break, or 1 David token!)
Lastly there are some MemStrips in this deck to help with the virus memory cost.
