Deck valid after Sixth Rotation |
This deck won every game it faced at Montreal District Championship 2025-03-29, where it helped me get 1st place. The deck did 4-0 on the day.
Round 1 : Win by Neurospike vs EdditheYeti on Zahya Sadeghi: Versatile Smuggler.
Round 4 : Win by Mganga vs Izzy on Mercury: Chrome Libertador.
Round 6 : Intentional draw with Leo (otherwise I would have played corp).
Top semi final : Win by Neurospike vs Leo on Chouxflower 419.
Top final : Win by Fujii Asset Retrieval vs Meleas on Bridgeman Lat.
Game plan : Flatline the runner with Punitive Counterstrike or Neurospike. EVERY agenda is a trap!
After the competition, it dawned on me that Send a Message should be See How They Run, as it would still be possible to do 4 damages with a Neurospike, which would be easier to setup also.
Mulligan plan : Ices in hand.
Changes made from the previous deck :
After losing to Esâ Afontov: Eco-Insurrectionist at CBI, and seeing lot of bypass being played in casual, I went for Anansi. The second Mavirus is because viruses are back in fashion and because I can put it in the remote to do an extra damage.
Mganga allowed me to have 6 ices to protect the remote. Since few runner are using AI breaker, it allows me to do 1 to 2 damages, which is essential to prepare Punitive Counterstrike or "protect" Fujii Asset Retrieval. Nobody plays around Mganga.
Diviner is a cheap gear check and the extra Neurospike allow the deck to be more consistent in setting up the fork.
Big thanks to Andrej for organizing and judging the event, we were 18 players and it was a blast!
Cheers!
