This is a really fun jank deck I have been toying around with lately. The basic idea is to charge up an Incubator while you build your rig, then dump it onto Medium and throw haymakers at RnD with Blackmail. 3x of both Deja Vu and Same Old Thing for blackmail and virus recursion. Mulligan hard for either Incubator, SMC, and Wyldside.
Power through your deck with Wyldcakes and stay on top of those assets with the money you'll be making from Lucky Find, Sure Gamble, Daily Casts, and Armitage Codebusting. All while your Incubator is ramping up to 8+ counters. If the corp purges a lot, those are click they are losing. 2x Hivemind for the extra oomph if you have 2 Mediums out.
Councilman has your back against those surprise CVS rezzes, Freedom Through Equality to nab an extra point while you are 10 cards deep in RnD, and Rebirth to taste.
The deck seems slow on paper, but if you have an Incubator, SMC, or Wyldside in your opening hand, your game will progress surprisingly fast. Keep the pressure up as much as possible and stay above 8 creds (or 12, SYNC) to shake off HHN.

A couple things: Djinn vs Hivemind: Cheaper, lets you pull viruses out on-demand, and lets you have more installed. If you want you could go 2x Djinn and 1x Hivemind. Liberated Account over Armitage Codebusting: A bit harder to get into play, but you are running 3x Career Fair, you might as well take advantage and spend fewer clicks in the process. Lucky Find: 4 inf is a lot to spend for two econ events when you have plenty in faction and you aren't getting the boost off of Prepaid VoicePAD. If you want more credits I'd take 2x Temüjin Contract instead. They are fantastic for punishing open centrals and naked remotes, and nearly free to install off a Career Fair. DDoS: I'd do whatever I needed to find room for a third. |

I run a similar deck, but with Vigil and Drug Dealer for draw. I also included 1-of D4v1d, e3 Feedback Implants and Rebirth into Quetzal: Free Spirit for big ice installed with Oversight AI. |

First of all, don't call this jank. Hivemind Valencia is a serious competitve deck. I've played it for more than a year and it carried me through a lot of tournaments :p. I would play Liberated Acc and maybe a queen's gambit for econ instead of the Armitage. Also where is your grimoire, it gives you MU for the Hivemind + 3medium and it gets you a potential of 6 extra accesses. After a lot of testing and engines, I find beating CVS is more like spamming hiveminds by installing a new one, scavenge, CC or incubator. Seeing 15 cards twice is often better. Just eat or disarm every cvs you see and know that you'll lose to russian NEH :p For inspiration: netrunnerdb.com Other engines: SMC + Scavenge, Inject + CC, Djinn + Personal Workshop Hope this helps. |
I would include either Demolition Run or Showing Off to get a deeper look into R&D. Demolition run is the better card in general, but showing off gets lots of value when playing against the Sensie Actors Union.
