Playset Andromeda

JackMade 3254

This Andy-Deck focuses on consistency before anything else. The only cards that are not included as a playset are the Icebreakers and that is because i've got Special Order.

I go through some of the card choices that makes this deck different compared to other good stuff Andromeda-Decks.

3 Deuces Wild : These are so flexible, i never go with less than 3 anymore. In the early game you get card draw which is really needed in criminal. Additionally you can expose ICE without losing tempo, setting up Account Siphon through Special Order for the right breaker. Sometimes you can do cool stuff after Account Siphon running and removing a tag at the same time.

3 Sneakdoor Beta : I love that card and just can't get behind the fact, that no one else does as much as I do. It's great with so many things in this deck ( The Turning Wheel, Security Testing, Aaron Marrón, Temüjin Contract all like getting easy access on HQ. ) Normally you get free acces for at least one turn and then you make them spend ICE and money on a server that normally doesn't matter. So often times you can make the corp poor in the early game for a much longer time than without it.

3 Aaron Marrón : This guy is good, there is no question about it. And since he is better, the earlier you have him, playing him 3 times is a no brainer for me. Account Siphon + Aaron Marrón feels so amazing.

3 The Turning Wheel : It's the only multiaccess option this deck provides and it's almost always more than enough. R&D and HQ are the servers you are making the most runs on so it gets loaded very fast. You don't need 3 i think but as with most cards in this deck, it gets better the earlier you have it.

3 Security Testing : Most decks I see only have 1 or 2 but since asset spam got a little bit more usual these days and it's good early i switched back to 3 again. The guaranteed The Turning Wheel if you put in on HQ or R&D is nice too.

Breakers: No fixed strength breakers, hence they are not really inexpensive but sufficiently efficient. Vamadeva was my last inclusion for the CI matchup but i am still not convinced. Perhaps Femme Fatale is just better. It could be a Saker as well.

Honorable mentions, that didn't make the cut, but often do in other decks:

Employee Strike, Plascrete Carapace : I don't like silver bullets. They don't do enough and can be replaced by playing accordingly.

Legwork : Sneakdoor Beta does it better.

Medium : Too much influence for not much gain. The Turning Wheel does it better.

Datasucker : Would be a good fit especially with all the run based economy but doesn't work out that well with the MU and isn't really needed.

Daily Casts: No need for extra economy. Run focused economy is much better in this build.

John Masanori : Would be a strong card draw engine later in the game, but that's not what the deck needs. Aaron Marrón does it better.

Kati Jones : No idea in which matchup i really need that. Perhaps against glacier, but that's not really a thing right now.

By the way, I love this deck, it's so clean and does what it's suppose to do so well.

I love this decklist. Deuces is a great card in Andy.

Ok, yeah. This deck is really sweet. I love how the redundancy allows you to be even bolder against damage decks.

Went undefeated in today's GNK.
