Companion Killer [Weyland]

I decided I would be making four Game Changer decks before rotation, just for fun. I ended up making three good decks and one mediocre deck, which really impressed me. They are somewhat tough to pilot but also really really fun.

This is the Weyland version of the deck. It's an Argus tag-and-bag deck that leverages the extra clicks from Game Changer to get an extremely consistent kill combo. You can play Game Changer, then a SEA Source, then Consulting Visit a Too Big to Fail, then play/tutor your Scorched Earths. The Double subtype on Consulting Visit was supposed to prevent exactly this kind of thing, but you can do it anyway if you leak enough agendas, which harms your opponent anyway.

The Armed Intimidations usually require too many clicks to be scored from hand and followed up with a kill (unless you have a couple False Leads scored... at that point, everything is possible really), but they provide an alternative way to cheat a kill in during the early-mid game if the Runner is slow/careless. Do not make this your plan A!

(also, there could be some benefits to running Broad Daylight instead of Armed Intimidation, although I haven't tried it yet and there isn't much bad publicity in the deck. If you keep a counter around, it literally means you need one less Scorched Earth for a flatline, and generally applies pressure).

This deck is a lot stronger than I thought it would be, and really surprised me. It especially struggles against rich Runners, hate cards, and especially the combination of the two. No One Home is a card you never want to see, because you generally have enough money to trace and kill, but not much more than that. However, extra clicks from Game Changer allow you to kill Guru Davinder and Citadel Sanctuary before scorching, which was an extremely fun component of playing this deck.

Random tip: nobody ever runs the Standoffs for some reason if you install them. You should keep them in HQ or directly discard them to Archives, which the Runner will check sooner or later.
