Big econ Apex! Use Gachapons and flipped No Free Lunchboxes to trigger Wasteland/Reaver on the opponent's turn; Gachapon also helps you dig for Assimilator if you can't mulligan for it. Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ and WAKE Implant v2A-JRJ can be flipped up or have the core damage canceled by Heartbeat (canceling the damage is another way to trigger econ effects if you lose Aesop or have plenty of credits!).

Setup is surprisingly fast as long as you can find an Aesop's Pawnshop! Gachapon can dig up all the other pieces of your engine.

In long games, flip up Harbinger for infinite hitpoints / Aesop's econ; also consider Rebooting to reinstall & flip Gachapons or Boomerangs.

Boomerang can break any ICE if you flip it up instead of install it from hand because the "when installed" clause doesn't trigger.

Preventing damage on the opponent's turn with Heartbeat fulfills the econ triggers and saves you a use of Gachapon or No Free Lunch.

Went 1-1 in a three-round store tournament, winning on time against PE and losing to Aginfusion. Other folks splitting lots, me getting a bye, and my corp going 2-0 make Apex technically speaking a tournament winning ID!
