Does the Runner’s mark stay if all mark cards leave play, or does it leave and return when a new mark card comes into play?

When you identify your mark, that server becomes your mark for the turn, even if the card that instructed you to identify your mark leaves play. If an event instructs you to identify your mark, that server continues to be your mark for the remainder of the turn after that event resolves.

If the Runner does not have a mark, and they install a card that says “When your turn begins, identify your mark.”, do they get a mark for the current turn?

No. The Runner only identifies a mark when an ability instructs them to.

If the Runner has multiple “mark” cards, how do they identify their mark?

The first time each turn the Runner resolves an instruction to identify their mark, they will randomly choose a central server. That server becomes their mark for the entire turn. Resolving another instruction to identify their mark will have no effect.

Reviews

This AI breaker fit perfectly with any deck running Virtuoso. For a pretty low cost, it will allow the runner to break any ices on related to the mark, especially with Cezve. Hence it is a natural fit with any Nyusha "Sable" Sintashta: Symphonic Prodigy deck.

If you plan to run multiple centrals in one turn (example : for Deep Dive) , this is not the card for you. Because it only break ices on a single server.

Out of faction, without using Cezve, it is a difficult proposition for 3 influences. I do not see this card being run out of faction.

Outside of using it with Nyusha "Sable" Sintashta: Symphonic Prodigy, it could be used with another criminal ID focusing on using the mark mechanic. There is currently a precious few cards that use this mechanic (Carpe Diem, Virtuoso, Backstitching and Info Bounty).

This will not move Aumakua out of its position as a favorite AI breaker. But it fit well with the mark mechanic and with criminals, but will stay a niche card.

The art is well detailed, pairs (pun intended) well with the name and the quote. Well designed.

Given the low install cost, this is probably a better option than Backstitching for early game aggression, even in Sable apoc decks but especially in Deep Dive decks. When you're done with it you can just trash it an get the two MU back.
