Won a 20-player regionals at my FLGS, Gamersaurus Rex. Latest legal pack was 23 Seconds but the old MWL and errata were in effect. Corp deck here, a pretty standard Pālanā with some fun includes.
Been tinkering with this deck since Tech Trader came out and I saw that Shapers have a lot of trash icons to use. This deck is a blast to play with almost every action you take paying dividends later.
The main goal of the deck against fast advance is to slow it down enough until you can take control. I've won multiple games where NBN was at 5/6 points and had an Astro token but still couldn't close the game due Clot, Sac Cons and Clone Chips. If having to spend 3 to get rid of a Sac Con is irritating, spending 3 to do so and give the runner 3 is infuriating.
Not to say that this deck can only handle fast advance. The ability to pull credits out of your ass at any moment really screws with what the Corp might assume is a scoring window. One of the earliest games I play-tested with this deck involved me using an SMC to search an SMC to search an SMC to search a Faerie. Netting me 3 and adding more money onto my Technical Writers all without spending a .
Kill decks and Jinteki shell games are okay since you have Deus X and two cards to help keep you alive in Bookmark and Sports Hopper. Tagging decks like Sync are probably the hardest match up but you can sit and build more and swap in some tech cards like Hunting Grounds. Stall with Clot and make more choice runs to snag Breaking News. Asset spam is also a hard match up but you should be able to survive IG and I haven't tested this deck against Hot Tub Time Machine. Not that it's going to matter with the new MWL and errata.
I’ve tried this deck with the Pancha-trasha set of breakers but I prefer a more conventional suite where I can make multiple runs in a single turn if needed. This deck can definitely be refined and tweaked further. I want to squeeze in a Hyperdriver somewhere and still cut it down to 45 cards.

Councilman might be better if you can install it as a surprise like through DaVinci or Street Peddler. Tried both of those cards in the deck before though. DaVinci wouldn't pay out until I got my Tech Traders out and most of the stuff I install is cheap. Street Peddler, while giving me the speed I needed, felt like it was doing more harm than good. I'd get 2 Tech Traders stuck on it a lot or my events which are I will more or less always want at some point. Crescentus also didn't see much use but that was more of me not seeing big ice. Derezzing a Merlin was still good. Also derezzed an Eli 1.0 one game to prevent Marcus Batty from ending the run. Employee Strike is a card I only managed to play once during the tournament but was quickly replaced by a Cerebral Static. Really, I'd say the must-spend influence cards of this deck are Tech Trader, Clot, Clone Chip and Faerie. The rest are tech cards you can change around. |

I like the deck Tech Trader is a great econ card shame so many think it's just a Armand "Geist" Walker: Tech Lord card. Anything you felt didn't pull it's weight on the day?
