My first Anarch deck. Took a lot of swings at this (and a lot of bad/terrible/slow/over-crowded versions) before I landed on this one.
I still haven't play-tested it. So I'm looking forward to see if this works the way I hope it will. The name says it all. Move fast and break things.
You have a few routes to do this: the classic Imp/Friday Chip forever "loup" obviously being the preferred method. But of course you have the Carnivorous diet, when you need it. Buffer Drive is there to catch whatever you want to save as leftovers in the Stack, which should allow you to make the meal last a bit longer.
And last but not least, Miss Bones has come along as your date and wants to pay for dinner - she's a very modern lady! But of course you have also Bahia Bands and Overclock, if you happen to be strapped for trash cash during your runs.
The point is: you'll need a few different paths to be the best there is at what you do, because it's never a one-size fits all kind of game. It was with a very early, Scrubber-filled version of this deck I learned this valuable lesson when I realized MOST Corp cards don't have trash costs... 🤦♂️
That said - you'll most likely want to use Bahia for the install discount and the card draw and Overclock funds for breaking subs and boosting breaker strength. With the exception of a few Fermenters to build some long-term investment funds, the econ in this deck is all focused around running. Go hard to the rim, finish through contact, and take free throw credit and card draw. And then do it again on the next possession. We don't shoot threes on this squad. We're all Giannis.
We can have a debate whether the longterm econ should be Daily Casts, or some other resource, or Fermenter viruses. The latter is weaker to the Corp purging virus counters and wiping away your rainy-day fund and your magical trash machine at the same time - it's putting a lot of eggs in one basket. But, personally, I'd rather have the synergies with Friday Chip and Cookbook and be able to choose when I cash it (assuming the Corp doesn't do it first) than waiting in front of an independent credit ATM, passively disbursing a few bucks at the beginning of each turn... but I may change my tune on that after having played it a few more times. It could very well be that I discover I'd rather save the Fementer trash/withdrawal click for making more runs and playing more events - TBD.
Sooner or later you'll get Twinning out. Mystic Maemi and Miss Bones are there for you. Use them and charge it up for just a bit more access on those runs when you really know that Agenda is just under that next card or two. Again, I'm not yet sure if this the right ratio or not - it may be that the right recipe is 2 Maemis (for earlier run econ) and 1 Miss Bones, but I expect I'll find that out as I test it more. Same thing for the recursion - maybe it's unnecessary, maybe its too much? I've noticed Buffer Drive has mysteriously kept appearing in a lot of my recent builds - is that a sign? I like to think I'm strategic, not overly cautious. But maybe I'm just a paperhands player...
Outside of Buffer and Labor Rights, I'm keenly aware that this deck is "all gas and no brakes" as the people that say that say. All "O" no "D." Again, I'm willing to be wrong on this - maybe an AirBlades or a Lucky Charm or Devil Charm, etc. (are those things people put in decks these days? As a pretty new player I'm honestly not really sure what top "brake" or defense cards might be good candidates here). But there is some cover - Bahia for tag removals, and Steelskin Scarring for sudden damage spikes. But my hunch is that this is the right play. This deck and this ID and this Console don't want to play it safe. They want to run. They want to feast on their prey. This deck wants to be a lean, mean trashing machine! Again, just a hunch.
Love to hear any thoughts/suggestions on this deck. I deliberately tried NOT to look at any other Loup decks. I really wanted to make my own free from expectations or assumptions which definitely resulted in some weird incarnations of it - it was a virus deck at one point - but that's a whole different story. Big shout out to Ysengrin and Gerrark for their amazing and well-written Null Signal Games blog post from 2021 (https://nullsignal.games/blog/susg-anarch-party-hard/). It really helped me put the finishing touches on this deck and truly understand that you shouldn't try to cage the wolf - you should let him run.
