Switchblade Andromeda

My take on a semi stealth Andromeda deck.

It features a lot of the usual criminal aggro economy card and offers relatively good action compression. Sec Test, John M, Desperado and Dirty Laundry all have great economic synergy.

Account Siphon doesn't really require any explanation.

I opted for 1 Gordion Blade instead of the stealth decoder in order to have more consistency and be less at the mercy of stealth cards and my draws. Cloaks are obviously great for paying for breakers even if they're not stealth and can save you some bucks in the long term. Silencers and Ghost Runner are both there to ensure that Switchblade is online every time.

I've considered working in mimic so that Silencer has even more value and is less of a dead draw in multiples. It's something I am torn on and the influence is pretty tight with all the shaper splash.

Thoughts and input are always welcome.

Have you considered working in a Rex in case something happens to Gordian?

Same goes for some Corroder back up

I haven't. It might be something to consider.

Yeah, from my experience, Criminals have no built in recursion so it's either back ups or splash clone chip. Depends on your style of play though. It definitely looks like a good deck!

Personally I think you're missing out by avoiding Refractor. It's an excellent decoder early game, costs one less influence, and gives you more out of the splashed Cloaks.

As written there are probably more stealth credits than necessary to support just Switchblade. I'd drop Ghost Runner for something else if you were insistent on Gordian Blade.

I don't have any recursion in my version and as long as I don't stupidly run without a killer it's fine. Silencer, Cloak, and Faerie all protect against Power Shutdown so you just need to worry about breaking destroyers.

I would look into Earthrise Hotel and think about Legwork over HQ Interface.

Love the econ synergy you listed!

I agree with @Spenny022 - if either breaker get trashed, you're in trouble. Maybe some way to pull them out of the heap? Clone Chip or Retrieval Run or something?

Last thought - You could experiment with Ken "Express" Tenma: Disappeared Clone because of the reward for agressive running. Maybe you'd switch the HQI for Legwork. It does give you 2 extra influence to spend, as well.

You don't facecheck without a sentry breaker and the creds to pay for it. So you can play pretty safe with this deck and not lose breakers.

Power shutdown is annoying but you have ghost runner, faerie, silencer and cloak prevent that from happening for the most part.

@PureFlightpureflight Andromeda is a strictly better ID than Ken. You want to start the game with one 5th of your deck in your hand. It's just too ridiculous to pass up. Also as both HQI and Legwork are criminal faction, Legwork as an include doesn't free up influence at all.

@xjohncandyx Earthrise Hotel is by and far a better include than ghostrunner and as soon as I own them I intended to make that switch. Ghostrunner is really just there as silencer 5-6 and power shutdown protection due to my breaker suite being 1 ofs and there being no program recursion.

I personally like legwork over HQI, I like the surprise factor and the fact that it is always access 3. It also only costs 2! Personal preferences though!

@nanoxstatic GR is a resource and won't save you from PS.
