Unlike usual, I'm not going to write a thesis on all the changes here, it's pretty self explanatory. Except now it's slightly less jank, but still the same basic model - bloody Eureka! Hilarious stuff when it ACTUALLY WORKS. I'll make a few notes on the changes though:

  • Alpha wasn't that reliable to get out without SMC - and I don't actually want to SMC anything large out...so I tossed that idea. It's still good if you get it, especially with Eureka
  • Angel Arena was excellent - especially with Aesop's - but getting the money to use it wasn't reliable, so just went with the classic Diesel instead.
  • Paricia is mainly for Aesop's fuel - but you can use it properly as well.
  • The triple Underworld Contact is risky as hell - but if you pull it off with the Toolbox - oh baby the money.
  • Oracle May is still da bes.
  • Traded double The Maker's Eye for Nerve Agent and Medium, as well as Keyhole - far more diversity and power.
  • Triple Motivation still there for Aesop's fuel. Not unique for the win.

@Softman25 Oracle May is a nice idea though you can't really rely on getting her. I tend to like Stimhack or Networking for the professors influence point.

Something i found can speed to Professor up is the central breakers their cheap to get down and are good for filling the gaps between your breakers.

I am surprised theirs no Clone Chip's in the deck tho or Deus X.

@Pinkwarrior

The lack of Clone Chip and Deus X is a matter of choice and meta respectively.

I found in initial testing that I never really needed to recur all that much stuff, so Scavenge works fine - and gives me a neato discount. (And if there's nothing I want gone, I can just use a dead Parcia / David / Cache, instead of Aesopsing)

Regarding Deus X - no one was really running Jinteki, so the Deus X was redundant. You can easily slot one in though.

Regarding Oracle May - it's certainly inconsistent - but it's also insane if you get it off with Motivation. Even though it's a 2 card combo, it's easily the best economic engine in the game (imo) simply because of the card draw AND money. Combined with mega cheap stuff with Eureka! - it works a treat. Even if you don't get May - the Eureka / Motivation combo works as well, getting out The Toolbox, Torch, Femme and Alpha. (The main expensive stuff)

NB: In a not-Professor deck, you can also use Rachel Beckman or the Shards.

By the same token, I haven't used this deck in a while, so eh. Might come back to it though. It really worked, and was hyper hilarious.

@Softman25 Deus X is also nice for the odd bonkers HB deck but if your not seeing Jintiki then i can see why your not running it i play a Jintiki deck alot so it's always in my mind.

I think id want to clone chips my self for a res of a Faerie or Parasite on the fly but if this works for you then i guess it doesn't matter, i figure Alpha is your answer their rather than Faerie.

I find The Professor: Keeper of Knowledge dose do quite well people don't expect him and don't know how to deal with a runner with all the answers in their deck.
