I love this deck.

This deck can close matches with Scorched Earth, or scoring agendas behind Archer and Wormhole. the main idea is to tax the runner with sentries(as a normal Weyland . Let's understand some choose:

  • Dedicated Response Team: simply amazing with this corp. it just says "ok, or a tag and 2 meat or just 2 meat"

  • Data Raven: another amazing ice for Argus becouse combos with DRT and if u want to steal an agenda u will choose between "1 tag + 2 meat(+DRT) or 1 tag+1 tag(+DRT))

  • Snare!: want to lock my R&D? Want to just take tags from my agendas? Do u have 3 Carapaces? Ok, so?I ran snares to!

  • Universal Connectivity Fee: just for the combo with Data Raven, just for that dirty criminals, just because Wormholecan copy its subroutine and trash UCF instead of himself.

  • Excalibur: it's just strong and with Wormhole i can have another one in another server, if i need it.

The only fact is that i'm not too rich, but i can suppose easily that no many people will run SO fast against this deck because they can lose tags and, also, his money becouse my ices are a bit taxing. I ran only 5 econ operations, 7 econ agendas(3 a bit hard to score, 1 i'll never score and 3x Hostile Takeover that is maybe the strongest 2\1 in game) and 2xErrand Boy .

I thought about (but haven't tried) DRT with Argus, but don't understand how it's good. Doesn't it automatically make the choice 2 meat damage, instead of a tag (+DRT damage)? Or is damage the most desirable outcome?

@Ino209if you look at the timing of the cards, they take the tag then you can rez DRT so they will still take meat damage.

@gawbo005 I don't think it works as a surprise. That is, there is no rez window between steps 4.5 and 5 of a run; between accessing agendas (and Argus triggering) and the run ending. You can rez DRT at 4.3 and be assured the runner will take at least 2 damage.

My confusion was that the choice of 2 damage, or 2 damage and a tag should be an easy one for the runner. But if the goal is just to deal damage, then it's perfect.

the fact is that automatically the runner will choose 2 meats and i'm happy of this. Then i can rez them after a Data Raven, or if i know he could hit a Snare!. Or simply runners have to choose to run on my DRT, and spend a turn, and i'm still happy. Don't forget that meats prevention is not infinite.

Sounds good. Looking forward to giving this deck a shot tonight!

Oook unluckly TOO many eaters and keyhole, so need to fix something. I'm not sure about Crisium Grid or Swordsman. I can use it in a lot of matches and the second is more radical.
