Coffee and Ramen [2-4 US Continentals]

movableobject 27

Congrats to ME for being the top Az player at US Continentals

This deck is almost playable. It was able to do the thing it planned to do in 2 of the matchups, and the other 4, it fumbled over itself until the corp scored out without issue.

The idea is that Cezve pays for your Q-Loop and Masterwork installs. Its slow to get going, and relies on many econ pressure cards to buy yourself more time. In practice, the corp can usually outpace you anyways.

Some interesting card choices:

Buffer Drive: This is a 1 influence Simulchip that works on hardware too. It requires Q-Loop to instantly install the topdecked card, but in a pinch, click drawing it can work. I've used this to recur anything from Khusyuk to Pinhole Threading to Boomerang.

No Free Lunch: This deck cannot afford Sure Gamble regularly. Also I was spooked by last week's Drago prison.

Khusyuk: The best multiaccess I could find for this list for only 2 influence a piece. Usuaully not relevant until turn 8 or so, but corps haven't been icing R&D very heavily until they see it.

Recommend Changes

Clot largely wasn't relevant. Even though you can trick it out with Q-Loop and Buffer Drive, it is just a little too awkward without Simulchip. The influence could easily go towards another Buffer Drive and a Rezeki, or a Hijacked Router.

Adding another Pinhole Threading could go a long way. This deck loses to defensive upgrades, and Cezve + Miss Bones can pay for the trashes.

Congrats for repping Az! I am thinking of playing him for Euros, although my deck is very different.
