First published deck, so just looking for a little guidance really.

So the plan with this deck is to get a keyhole, eater rig set up pretty quick. Use the eater for some well timed account siphon, bank job and wanton destruction but mainly focus on doing as many keyhole runs on r&d as possible before cuttlerying ice around archives and then going through the trash.

I get the there is if anything an anti-synergy between Whizz' identity ability and a deck focused on non-access of anything other than trash. Just don't know who would be better. I only have one base set and don't own creation and control so wary of using MaxX without same old thing and three deja vus.

I am half tempted to scrap off the yog/mimic/ice carver and just hope that I can get the cutttlery and eater to do all the work.

Anyway please let me know what you think.

@tornadohenry Just to be clear, before I can offer any help.. Is your card pool every data pack except C&C and only 1x Core? =)

@lroach2 Hi my card pool currently is 1xcore, Order&Chaos, true colors, what lies ahead and as of this lunchtime: opening moves and first contact. Got first contact so as to put Hades Shard and maybe Box-E in this deck. Thanks for checking.

@Whimsical_One not sure about kim still gonna have the same problems as with whizard, its a deck not really focussed on accessing cards. Keyhole won't let Kim's ability into play much.

@tornadohenry - Grimore is a pretty important piece. Would you be ok making proxies? My cards are sleeved, so I just photocopy any cards I need more of and cut them out & place the copy over another card. (Everyone in my meta is ok with this - especially when packs are out of print.)

@lroach2 no problem with proxies really, but I quite like Box-E in this situation to counter the effect of using lots of Amped Up to make long 5 card r&d keyhole trash runs.

Using Whizzard: Master Gamer as your ID and going with the theme of Keyhole / Eater / “Utensils”

I would suggest making a proxy for 1x Account Siphon and 2x Grimoire and put those in.

Then I would cut all the breakers except Eater and then add 2x Crypsis

The next changes would be to cut Diesel, Amped Up, Bank Job, Ice Carver and replace them with 2x Déjà Vu , 1x Hades Shard, 2x Datasucker, 2x Parasite

You could only add 1x Grimoire and 1x Plascrete Carapace, if you are really worried about meat damage and want to use I've Had Worse for card draw.

thank you so much for the advise. think i'm gonna do as advised re loosing all the extraneous icebreakers and just rely on good ol Crypsis for the all important run on archives. also agree about cutting Diesel and Ice Carver in favour of Hades Shard and another Déjà Vu. However i'm really enjoying the super easy Bank Job economy from Eater.

@tornadohenry - If you are that concerned about 's then why not use Liberated Account? The Bank Job influence is better for Account Siphon. That gives you 's while denying the Corp its funds. Just an option. Definitely test your changes & let us know. =)
