This is my take on sync. The ID ability can be used to make a really taxing deck. Any tag becomes a decent tempo hit and a win win situation for the corp. Remove it? Sure.. you just wasted a click and 3 bucks. Keep it? Thanks! Now I can trash you ressources, use closed account, pachinko and information overload turn on, with a few tags psychographics enables more fast advance...
Favorite turn 1 play? Casting call on astro. 3 clicks and 6 bucks to steal it is a tempo hit that can easily snowball into a big edge for the corp.
Have not tested this a lot yet but so far I'm loving it.

I've been running a similar idea with a Haarpsichord Studios deck. Use the runner's fear of tags to slow them down and have tagging ice (Broadband/DataRaven/etc) to turn on my Pachinko. I can't wait for SYNC to come out, I would suggest running at least 1 Midseason Replacements, 2 Scorched Earth and swap Eves for Celebrity Gifts |

Scorched Earth would fit in there, but I really wanted to avoid doing a butchershop type of deck and instead focus on using tags to tax the runner. If anything, I'm almost more tempted to try Bad Times than Scorched Earth. As for Eve Campaign vs Celebrity Gift, I prefere Eve Campaign because, again, it is super taxing for the runner. If he does not trash it? Money for you, if he does? that's 1 and 5 lost for him. Manhunt is a card I've been thinking about and the issue is that this deck has a lot of agendas (12 out of 44 cards) so any current will not stay long on the table. If you ran the same deck out of New Angeles Sol: Your News though then Manhunt would be a no brainer. Other cards I'd like to find a spot for are Shoot the Moon and Red Herrings |
I really like the idea of having part of the deck 'turn on' when tags start flying. Do you think that the deck runs decently enough without an opening hand that can tag?
