Meme Level Clearance, 7th @ Nottingham District

Hey you! Did you know Lago Paranoá Shelter is good? @TorpedoTyrus, @OF15-15, @kikai and @laura_42 did (and probably still do). Aniccam is also pretty good, and doubly so with Lago Paranoá Shelter. Woah!

So anyway I stole the good Hoshiko ideas and put them in Quetzal because Quetzal is good actually. It might also have been because I'm committed to a bit, addicted to breaking subroutines without proper Icebreakers, and/or just appreciate the representation.. who can say really?

Quetzal will be rotating out of standard when Elevation releases next month so now is one of your last chances to play as this unique and badass runner. This deck is a joy to play when it's flying, so let me share that joy with you💖

Piloting

• Quetzal gets you through many early game end-the-run ICE, make a few threatening runs to keep the Corp from getting momentum
  • Trash the Rashida etc, but only if it doesn't hurt your setup too much
  • Hit some un-ICEd centrals just to remind the Corp they can lose that way
    • If the Corp is underfunded then even ICEd centrals can be a reasonable target
• In the mid-game, threaten their scores and see what bits of the toolbox turn up
  • Sometimes Crew-Charm burns down the remote
  • Sometimes multi-access on HQ clears them out or you en-cup-ify something important
  • If they're being passive then prepare some pieces and charge up the Twinning or look for Eye for an Eye / Finality
• In the late-game charge up the twinning to lock down R&D and threaten a big Finality
• Exploit the fact you can spike your breaking potential
  • Get Bankhar out and ready to go
  • Slow roll Crew, Charm, Laamb, Poison Vial installs to lull the Corp into a false sense of security (unless you're worried about being click short)
  • Snap out the Botulus at a key moment
• Click/credit efficiency is vital as always; try and get Aniccam triggering every turn and make use of money from pals
• In general keep in mind what might hurt you
  • Never have I ever messed myself up by not respecting Winchester / Stavka / Hammer / Bankhar-ed Anansi
