Reeducating the Population-7/1 at Worlds, undef at amt 23/10

Silent Arbiter 378

Sinse jan tuno wanted to see this list published, here it is :P

In preparation for worlds I theory crafted (recrafted tbh, I already tried the combo when djumstad came out, here) this deck, on jinteki did surprisingly well, nobody expected the grid in Azmari. The goal is to get the combo down as soon as possible, to do that we have 3 plano, 3 spin, 3 rashidas and a sprint to find our 2 pieces. Usually in 4 turns is game over.

Our way out is to rush the combo. We do not tax with ices, we can't let the runner find the pieces to get into our servers fast. At worlds it did incredibly well, having a 33/0 score on jinteki was clearly hyping me up but WOW, only Sebastiank managed to contest in time and to steal the reeducation with his last click with an incredible Arissana deck created by Koga, and from that moment on just controlled the game; the 2d and third reeducation were in the last 10 cards..., on the other side, my lat (which was an hermes lat with 2 turbines and not a single paricia, ye I was expecting glaciers) lost me the 2x1 that would have led me prolly in top 32 against a very well piloted PE (that list is dope tbh) by crowphie.

After worlds I wanted to publish this list, but sinse I did play it only against a few players at worlds I thought that bringing it to another tournament could be a good call. And it was indeed, the reeducation combo carried me to the 5th position of the atm in november, winning me every single game.

Jokes on me, but I firmly believe that Djupstad >> Neurospike for several reasons (you lose to Pinhole , which is the only downside, but you combo off so much easier, there's no counterplay in the middle of the combo at all, people not knowing the deck believe that the upgrade is an AMAZE and don't even try to steal, every install adv twice must be checked even if you have no cards in hand ...) , so if you want to try this deck, I'll suggest to play it with a different ice suit, more similar to the one published by jan tuno (cut the pings and the enigmas, put some hydras and the toolbooths, you are rich enough to do it.)

Or just play the jan tuno's version, is so much better then this anyway, even if it's slower and without the grids :3

Insanely cool list. Can you explain what you mean by “every install adv twice must be checked even if you have no cards in hand”? If you Grid a Reeducation they have a couple cards in, it doesn’t end the game, so I’m not sure what that means exactly. Thanks!

@revengeanceful you can set up a spin earlier, if they don't run with their clicks subliminals get back to hand and with mandatory is enough... The point is that seeying you at 0 cards in hand and not knowing the deck, runners used to spend their turn setting up thinking that in that remote were defensive upgrade x + bellona/degree mill/send a message being you an azmari that could be just rushing (in Italy for instance the most played azmari was a glacier/rush version with void/mavirus ). Now, with both this and jan tuno's version been published, is kinda unreasonable that a runner do not run in that circumstance, but on the other hand this could be an advantage for the other azmari version (run on a hydra server with your echelon just to see a void, following turn I score a bellona, game is kinda over).
