If you play a runner in startup, no doubt you'll have the boat in it (about 80% of the times). Here is a fast version of this.
Muligan plan : Fermenter or other economy cards (the boat and the hotel are expensive).
Game plan : Deep Dive and get to steal possibly 2 agendas.
This deck emphasize all the cards that synergize together : Flux Capacitor with Endurance, Captain Padma Isbister: Intrepid Explorer with Earthrise Hotel, Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ with Deep Dive. K2CP Turbine with Cleaver and Buzzsaw.
This will allow us to run and pass for cheap. And we get to draw our deck clicklessly.
Retrieval Run is our equivalent to Simulchip, to get a program loss to rig shooting or sniped from our hand.
Flux Capacitor, along with Endurance, becomes the equivalent of Botulus, because it allow us to pass an ice for no cost at all.
Yes, Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ makes it difficult against Thule Subsea: Safety Below, because Ontological Dependence becomes 2-2. Normally, I would suggest to put Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ as early as possible, because getting 5 clicks per turns makes a big difference. But against Thule, you can take the time to prepare yourself a bit more.
I've favored Fermenter over Liberated Account account because it is cheaper in clicks (2 total). But for the same influence and for nearly the same value, you could use Liberated Account (5 total).
Hippocampic Mechanocytes is there to get possible protection against End of the Line and against dual Reaper Function. Those two cards are used widely in startup. If you want to play Basilar Synthgland 2KVJ, you need some form of protection, otherwise you get flatlined often.
Fun takes : Paricia is so good! For a 1 influence, 0 cost program, it help so much against so many matchup. The econ I got from it, after trashing so many problematic asset for less than 2 is huge!
Cheers!
