Run Run Run. Your identity (Ken "Express" Tenma: Disappeared Clone), Desperado, John Masanori, Prepaid VoicePAD, and Dirty Laundry all make running and run events highly profitable.
Crash Space and Lawyer Up minimize the negative impact (tagging) of Account Siphon and John Masanori.
Tailor your strategy to how the corp is playing. 3x Same Old Thing combined with The Maker's Eye, Legwork, Inside Job, and Account Siphon, allows you to keep hammering whatever is the least-defended among HQ, R&D, and remotes.
Try to use Special Order to get out your full suite of icebreakers quickly. Your biggest weakness is losing your icebreakers. Be careful when running, especially if you don't have Retrieval Run and a click left to use it. If you lose an icebreaker, the corp can put down "end the run" ice of the same subtype in front of Archives, preventing you from retrieving it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I absolutely felt the same way and did play around with adding more icebreakers, but I eventually came back to this build as the one that works best. You want to be using as many clicks to run as possible, given that successful runs will net you credits and/or cards. Crypsis isn't great because you're burning clicks to add virus counters, and single shots like Faerie aren't great because you want to be running repeatedly. Both of those icebreakers work better in decks that make a small number of high-impact runs, rather than this deck, where you want to be making at least a couple runs every turn. You could add more standard icebreakers like Peacock, but they won't be as cheap to use as the 3 breakers that are already included, which could make sustaining your economy more difficult. I haven't tried this deck in a tournament, but in friendly matches 3x Special Order has generally been sufficient to get my breakers out, and 2x Retrieval Run offers some basic protection in case a breaker gets trashed. |

still working pretty well post-MWL. remove 2x lucky find and 2x retrieval run, add 2x high stakes job, 1x levy AR, and 1x event of your choice. also playing around with using that extra slot for a 3rd lawyer up, and running 3x public sympathy rather than 3x crash space. better protection against net/brain damage, not so great against scorch |
This looks like a fun deck, but I would be terrified to only have three icebreakers in my deck. I might add a Peacock, a couple of Faeries, and a Crypsis or two. Those additions would help calm my fears. :)
