This is runner I took to Brno GNK which I somehow won. It performed well going 3-0.
Going into tournament I haven't played much and was excited to play Reavershop Wu. However, before tournament I only played two games with the deck and since GNK was afterwork tournament, so I didn't want to think too much about all the shaper BS you can pull off. I also knew that Brno meta is usually very glacier-y/PE-heavy so I needed deck that can challenge Ag and has ok chance against PE. I decided having 3x Steelskin Scarring is ok enough so Hoshiko was born.
There isn't anything interesting about this Hoshiko. You just draw cards, make tons of cash and hopefully lock corp out or win on Twinning accesses. Good old-fashioned fair Netrunner.
Round 1 (1-0): Against Outfit, I got my 2x Rezeki and Engolo setup early and was able to steel early hostile and Send the Message from R&D while being annoying with Hippo on the board. Unfortunately, Radek didn't find his agendas early so at the end he had 5 bad pubs and I was able to steal the last agenda from remote
Round 2 (2-0): Against Ag, this game looked very bad at the beginning after Kubik pulled off his Regenis+Obokata combo for 4 instant points early. I am not sure how but I was able to stabilize for few turns and win on R&D accesses.
Round 3 (3-0): Against Ag, I had really good start with early rezekis, engolo and paladin. Made ton of money so running through Endless EULA + Surveyor R&D every turn wasn't problem. I couldn't find agendas and probably should have checked HQ more times. At the end it came down to winning 5/3 + Void in remote vs. 2 accesses on R&D and I finally found last agenda to win the game. This was definitely most exhausting game of the tournament.
I think companion shell in Hoshiko is still strong, but this version probably needs some speed up to have better chance against faster decks.
As always, thanks to everyone who played at tournament.
