Startup Starter Kit v 1.0

This is one of my set of Startup Starters. These aren't meta-defining decks, but the should be solid enough to win games, and give you a shell you can use to start deckbuilding. You can find the others here.

This deck is also a bit more complicated than the Tao deck I published as a starter. A big piece of your economic engine is Aesop's Pawnshop, which has synergies with a lot of different cards in your deck. But the selling point for this deck is not the economy. Instead the selling point is you can run aggressively early by slapping down Eulers and forcing the Corp to rez stuff you will break for almost nothing with your Rielle "Kit" Peddler: Transhuman ability. Then in the late game you can use Leech and Buzzsaw to break in for almost free.

This deck really wants to only deal with Codegates, so in addition to your ID ability, you're also packing 3x Pelangi, each of which can be used once per turn, to turn an ICE into a Codegate. Like with all shaper decks Self-modifying Code (often abbreviated SMC) is a big part of your playstyle. If the Corp has unrezzed ICE, you can run it with SMC installed, and after they rez it, you can use the paid ability (2) to search your deck for the correct breaker, in this case often Euler, assuming that your ID ability is turning that unrezzed ICE into a Codegate. The last complex tool in this list is Simulchip. It has two uses. The first one is if you have already sold a program to Aesop's, it will get you a program from the Heap (discard) for cheap. The other way you can use it is to "reset" one of your Eulers or Pelangi's. If you haven't trashed anything, the additional cost for Simulchip means you have to trashed one of your installed program. Once you've paid that cost you get to resolve the rest of the text on Simulchip and install a program from you heap. If you trashed a Pelangi, and then brought that same Pelangi, the game treats it as 2 different cards, so you can get around Pelangi's once per turn limit!

As you play more with this deck you might find that Conduit doesn't really fit your playstyle, or maybe the two Paricia never get used and just installed to sell to Aesop's. Kit historically often like cards like The Maker's Eye, and other single run high impact cards.

Cybertrooper Talut seems decent with all the Eulers.

It's definitely a card to consider. Try it out! I'd love to hear if it feels like a card you get a lot of mileage out of. I felt like this list already had a lot of installables, so spending a click and 2 credits for the extra strength might not be that useful.
