This deck is my version of the Crusade. I went 3-0 with it at a tournament last night.
Bear in mind, I haven't played a game of Netrunner in 4 months, practice or otherwise,
and I have not played Jinteki specifically since core came out. I think that says
something about the quality of this deck.
I added a cyberdex virus suite and a cerebral static. Both were key in a couple matchups.
I faced Quetzal, Valencia, and Noise and the CVS was key in the first 2 matchups,
while the cerebral static shut down Noise for a while until the runner socred a future
perfect out of a remote by beating a Caprice Psi game. It would have also helped against
Valencia and her Itinerant Protesters current. I managed to keep 2 merlins in hand with
3 BP against me and almost flatlined the runner after he hit a swordsman and continued
the run after swordsman trashed his eater. He had 2 I've had it worse in hand, otherwise
it would have been game. I still won.
Speaking of swordsman, MVP of the deck last night. All 3 games were AI heavy and only the
first game did someone have a mimic to break it. It always trashed at least one AI breaker
and gave me a srong scoring window. I would actually drop Komainu for a 3rd right now.
Eater is going to be messing Corps up for a while.
The Grail suite did very well. It was more taxing than hard stop but that made the Psi
games even more of a challenge for the runner. They did drop to parasite and I found
myself dropping merlin just to have a higher strength ICE to add routines to.
Excalibur stopped a second run at least once each game. Everytime it was after a swordsman
did its job.
Wraparound. I replaced Eli with it because the new utensil options will shred bioroids
easily. Wraparound was clutch in the 2 games I drew it by keeping the runner out.
No one played a fracter in any of the 3 games.
I was rich the entire 3 games. Money was never a problem. I would actually drop the
2 Quandary for Enigma or another cheap code gate. You could instead add one lotus field
and one Ashigaru. You tend to keep cards in hand for gift and Grail so it would always
be multiple routines.
