Let's Break Free

Frankiethor 3

This is a deck I created with the aim of destroying every defence in the Corp's hands, by simply trashing her ICEs. How?

Darwin and D4v1d are the main icebreaker, just to be used against non-barrier ICEs. To overcome barriers, in facts, Quetzal's ability + e3 Feedback Implants will be very effective both early and late. I opted to add two copies of Tinkering to help me in case i'm low on credits or if I don't get icebreaker early enough.

How to destroy ICEs? Easy: by using the new set of runs ( Spooned, Forked and Knifed) from Order & Chaos. In case i manage to steal an agenda, I can also play a Kraken to destroy another ICE. Parasite can also provide some early destruction, along with Imp by trashing things directly from the R&D.

Economy is an important issue due to Darwin and to feed its growth, so I thought of Daily Casts (some easy money, good at each stage of the game), Sure Gamble and i also added Kati Jones to help me sustain.

I've had a hard way choosing my console, but I ended up with classic Grimoire, thus to have that always useful, and to boost the growth of Parasite and Datasucker, also allowing to use Imp one more time to trash things.

Retrieval Run and Déjà Vu can be useful to recycle trashed copies of Imp and Parasite.

I think id try to fit in some Same Old Thing's with 20 events it seems like a good fit and can squeeze some more use's out of them destruction cards/tinkerings

Maybe 1x Kraken is enough. From my games and what i read from other players its sooooooo situational.

Otherwise, really interesting deck.

sorry for double post but these 2 Kraken can make room for Same Old Thing

Thanks for the feedback :) I think i'll remove 1x Kraken and 1x Daily casts, and add instead 2x Same Old Thing ;)

I'm trying the D4v1d + Darwin combo with the e3 Feedback Implants support and is waaaaaaay slow. Without tutor, Diesel, Inject or other, you can be denied for a lot of turns.... Also I think the Surge is a must have for speed up of Darwin and last but not least, I'm trying The Personal Touch to help Darwin. You can check mine here netrunnerdb.com

Thanks @Oziride, i was thinking of using Crypsis instead of Darwin, beacause I don't want to use Surge, as it would cut room for other cards much more useful.

The and cost of Crypsis is outrageous; I think that Eater is the way... run for break ICE and then Run for agendas... the problem can be that the corp can no-rez ICE on "trashing" run. The programs problem is the main reason because I had leaved the cutlery idea.

The other way is to remove 3x Retrieval Run, 1x Grimoire, 3x Darwin and some program to use a "standard" I.B. suite.

@Oziride I ran the same combo and found it fine but i also ran Logo's and a mimic which helped me a great deal.
