Clean Shirt [3-1 12th @ Nottingham CO]

J-Flex 211

This is my Outfit deck from Pre-rotation updated with new Automata Initiative and post-rotation and ban list updates, named after a not well known Peep Show reference - no kill Weyland, they have gone clean. I did try a like for like swap switching HHN with Oppo Research and keeping the kill package but the play style of the new mass tag card is different and couldn't grok it quickly so I dropped it and switched to straight fast advance. The previous version of the deck could comfortably gear check Anarch and Crim and nobody was playing Shaper - with Biotic this deck goes even faster.

You would guess correctly that this deck falls apart to Clot Shaper but I executed a pro-play by not playing any on the day. Hermes does slow you down else Crim just uninstalls all your ice but late game a bunch of ice is usually rezzed so just go nuts.

With the changes brought on by new cards available and older ones disappearing, they were a few flex slots brought about by losing the big ice and not needing the Building Blocks. We did try Armed Asset Protection but it was a dead card for most of the game, Priority Construction is not terrible for getting a powered up Pharos or Tree Line but finally settled on running 3xPivot which allows you to go get your agendas or tech options or even economy if you find yourself in a pinch. Going down to 2xMagnet and up to 2xMavirus definitely improves your Clot matchup and pesky turtles.

On the day, the deck performed very well and could have gone unbeaten. @Echo correctly made the 1 in 5 pull to win our game where I was in a comfortable position to biotic it out next turn, and pivot out the winning agenda from a healthy R+D the next turn after. It was also the one game I used Slash and Burn to score out an Atlas - you ideally want to have a Spin on the table to save it but with the alternative being the runner takes all the agendas from your well stocked hand, it's a viable out to score 2 points rather than 0.
