Edit: Switch Shrike for Sherman, obvs. That's what I get for rushing this out there.
Experiment inspired by a creative newbie deck and, of course, @dodgepong's Angry Geist from Worlds. It trades the New Angeles City Halls for On the Lam and Aaron Marrón for more powerful tag avoidance/removal. Set up, Siphon/Vamp them to grab remote lock and eventually medium dig for the win.
Experimental pieces: Utopia Shard is a great counter to all the operation-based kill and tag hate out there. Plus once you're set up as geist you're always overdrawing mid-run, so Clickless install of Utopia during a Siphon or Hades during an archives Temujin is super efficient. Once you're set up the Shards read "Gain three credits and draw a card" in addition to their abilities. Hades might be more situationally useful but with this denial style it's another runless vector of pressure on the Corp to pop their Jacksons after ditching Agendas while defending against your Siphons etc.
Zu got switched out for passport for influence so save those crowbars and Crescenti for Code gates on remotes. Little bit of risk there but Vamp can help and hey I said this was an experiment.
Sherman instead of Corroder for MU mainly. Zu's cloud status was super important with Medium and Crescentus so we needed another permanent cloud breaker.
More peddlers would be great but we need the influence, they're less useful with this many events and Earthrise Hotel is a serviceable replacement.

Have you tried Earthrise? There are plenty of times when you've got to spend so may clicks installing breakers etc that the clickless draw is clutch. Draw, Draw, Install, Install, Install is the go-to turn before you're set up, and Earthrise saves you 6 clicks and keeps you stocked up. Also, so much of your draw is run based that there can be a chicken and egg problem both at the start of the game and after a levy. Sometimes also in the middle of the deck when you've used a bunch of trashables and haven't found the permanents yet. Earthrise helps power through a drought, get enough trashables down to break a Fairchild or something, find your link, draw into your siphons & On The Lams, etc. It generally helps you out-tempo the Corp. Hostage looks good on paper but I've found that Earthrise is a much more general purpose solution to Geist's consistency problem. It's faster over the long run (net 5 clicks) and not blank after you've got your Traders/Aaron out. I recognize it's a little bit of an outlier in terms of what other decks are running but I think if you give it a shot you'll find it unexpectedly good. It's one of my favorite cards to have turn 1. |

Your reasoning makes sense, for sure. I'll have to try the earthrises! Cheers |

I played my variant of this tonight, lost one but won the other with the Hades Shard! I did find that I never saw the Hostage that I had slotted in mine so will be replacing for the Earthrise Hotel as I simply didn't find the cards quickly enough. I also had some Drive Bys but as Other than that I am pretty happy with my decks first outing :) |

Unfotunately, you can't both Siphon and install Utopia Shard in the same run, since they're both "Instead of accessing cards" triggers, and the ruling was that you can only use one replacement effect per run. However, Temüjin Contract and Hades Shard totally work together, since Temmujin doesn't stop accesses |

Additionally, how frequently do you use OtL? It's always is too rich for my blood when I'm playing and find Aaron is typically enough. I keep 1x for 24/7 AD nonsense, but by and large I've found 2x hostage + Aaron gets him out early and helps cover tag match ups. |

If I dropped the Vamp and went a little more mainstream I'd probably ditch them. 2x hostage would work in that case but I'd prolly keep down to 1-2x peddler with this many events. Spend the influence on a third Strike and something else. Maybe Slums? Dunno. I've been tuning this deck for so long that it'd be totally meta dependent. Possible that hostage could up the consistency but I really dig earthrise as the solution there. Interested to see your list of you want to post it. We'll definitely need to get some testing in together before the Feb store champs. |

Could.spend an extra influence for Gordon but man the Mem gets real tight there. |

Shoot me a text sometime and we'll set up some Jinteki playtesting. |
Earthrise seems like too much draw in a geist deck (even without 3 peddlers). I'd trade them for two Hostage so you can get your tech traders and/or Aaron Marrón out faster. Otherwise, this looks like a lot of fun.
