Smashing Things v0.4 (Startup)

I want to iterate on a theme of 'smashing all the corps toys'. It's simplistic, but simple will serve til I get back up to speed with the game.


v0.4

After a number of games this weekend, I'm thinking I'm building this deck more cautiously than I want to run it. The standard breakers aren't that well supported for what I want to actually be doing, which is trashing ice and threatening everything cheaply.

  • Buzzsaw, Cleaver, Mimic all get binned along with Self Modifying Code to make way for more of the cards I want to be playing that aren't as situational; more Botulus, Imp, Chisel, and their supporting cards like Devil Charm and Cookbook.
  • Stargate being the only multi-access was obnoxious, so dropping Aesop's Pawnshop and the above SMC frees up enough influence to add Docklands Pass and Conduit.
  • Liberated Account and Scrubber drop in favor of the slower but steadier trickly of Smartware Distro. This is the part I'm least sure of, and suspect I'll be tweaking next.

v0.3

  • En Passant isn't working as often or as well as I'd imagined it would. Too many conditionals. Swapping in some Devil Charms for a more reliable same effect, on my own terms.
  • I'm seriously considering going above 40 cards to add in a couple Jailbreaks just to capitalize on flush HQ turns.
