Overmind Recursion v0.1

Sotek 51

The plan here is all about getting synergies on cards that are decent by themselves - Overmind + Deep Red to get absurd counters on your Overmind, Scavenge+Overmind to refresh your counters, being Exile to let that plan draw a card, Pawn+Deep Red+Scheherazade+Exile for that nice little combo, e3 Feedback Implants+Overmind to let you choose between credits and power counters to break subroutines, Omni-Drive to host your Overminds or Darwin to conserve memory and get recurring credits... even Maker's Eye and R&D interface have a nice synergy.

The actual strategy is to pressure early and often - Overmind is strong early and with all the support here will remain strong late, and you can use Darwin to conserve counters (and money, if the fish grows a few times); the corp can't purge to create a scoring window, since Overmind still works.

Your plan should be to run R&D for several cards, then spend a few turns building econ by digging for more Pawns, then run R&D for a few cards, etc - if they have remotes you need to care about, go ahead and deal with them, and once you have the pawn engine going you can run the cheapest server the corp has out.

For Overmind: As soon as the corp ices up something you want to run, drop your first Overmind and make him sad. Keep Overminds with counters around via any of your many ways to get more. If you get a chance to host on an Omni-Drive then take it, but don't wait. Your goal is to keep the Corp from ever accomplishing anything - trash their econ assets and both be broke, it'll work out fine.

For Darwin: I advise saving the orca until you can put him on an Omni-drive - the recurring credit lets you pump him every turn for "free", and you don't want to be scavenging to rehost him later.

The Mimic: This is purely here as an answer to Swordsman. But you have enough recursion that you can afford to faceplant a Swordsman more than once - only play Mimic if you actually know that you'll be able to get value from it, since it costs you Overmind counters on every reinstall.
