This is a Chaos Theory "big rig" deck that tries to leverage both Test Run / Scavenge and now London Library / Scavenge to pull out your hugely expensive breakers (and Magnum Opus while you're at it) for next to no credits.
The surprise factor of laying down big breakers out of nowhere shouldn't be discounted either.
The singleton Retrieval Run is there as a "just in case" (since the deck doesn't run Clone Chip).
Could be fun!

Another option is to run Battering Ram instead of Morning Star. I mean, money is not an issue when you have Magnum Opus. :) |

Plus, i really should use some SMC:s just to be able to get out the opus as quickly as possible. :) |

Doesn't seem to have enough mem for a full rig of MO + all breakers. Am I miscounting mem? |

My own personal breaker suite in this setup would be Garrote, Torch and Battering Ram. And i would actually remove all three Sure Gamble's and exchange them with 3 x Self-modifying Code's, cause you really want the Magnum Opus on the table as quickly as possible. And when you do, it does the exact same thing as drawing 1 x sure gamble and playing it. (2 clicks for 4 credits). But with the Opus you don´t have to start at 5 credits to be able to use it, so when you have the Opus out, the Sure Gambles are relatively redundant and are just waste of space and "dead cards" when you draw them. |

I like this deck idea so far. What about replacing 3x Astrolabe with 2x Dinosaurus? Would help with the Morning Star str problem AND free up enough mem that you could have out Torch, Garrote and Magnum Opus! |

I still really think you should run Femme. It just works so well with London Library. You can change your Femme bypass every turn depending on whether you wanted to run R&D, HQ, or a remote |

Plus it potentially fixes your issues with str 5+ barriers. Not too many servers with 2x 5+ str barriers stacked |

In Test Run + Scavenge decks, the bottleneck is finding your Test Runs AND Scavenge to setup. By adding more "Test Runs" a.k.a. London Library, there's still problem of drawing Scavenge as well. |

I've updated the decklist with a few of the suggestions from here. netrunnerdb.com |

Any thought at all to trying to combo the Test Runs into Eureka!s and/or early Code Siphons? I'm guessing you'd want to replace the AstroLabes with the Eureka's, but it's definitely crimping your card draw. As for breakers, I was thinking Battering Ram, Femme Fatale, and Torch, since the Femmes solve so many other problems despite the inefficient pump. A couple of Sharpshooters help against the surprise Sentries. I tried to put together a similar quick big-rig CT deck a while ago (well before Library), and was never quite able to get it to work right. No matter how few pieces the combos needed, the MUs stacked up as fast as the Stealth suite, and the Big-Rig didn't feel as efficient as the recurring Cloaks/Lockpicks/Ghosts. Dinosaurus and/or Library may help with the MUs, but I still wonder whether they'll let you get more efficient than Dagger/Refractor/Corroder. |
How do you pass break 6+ barriers?
