Treasures Upon Earth

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

This list began as an attempt to build Adam for the Cache Refresh format. First thing you run into doing that is the absence of both Overmind and e3 Feedback Implants from the card pool? What is a poor bioroid to do?

I do not know if this is a good solution, but this list uses Multithreader and Mammon to fill the slots held by those cards in the most common Adam build in a non-Faust world.

The plan is pretty simple. Make money. Use that money to get into servers. Use Find the Truth and Mad Dash to score off R&D. Use Neutralize All Threats as multi-access on HQ. Multithreader is useful because it gives you a way to pump up Mammon without being too worried about guessing wrong on how many credits you need to invest. If you put 1 or 2 too many on Mammon it is okay. They come back next turn. Dean Lister and Datasucker are to help deal with the problem of Mammon having a base strength of zero. You could use other cards for this if you prefer.

The following cards could be substituted out for other tech cards. Here's why I included them:

Film Critic - Getting punished for stealing agendas is no fun.

Employee Strike - Need some way to shut off nasty Corp currents. This also neuters some really unpleasant Corp abilities.

Black Orchestra - Both Turing and Hortum make breaking things with AI no fun. If you do not fear these as much as I do, you could get rid this breaker for other toys. You might substitute Zu if you are worried about small Code Gates chewing up your Mammon tokens.

Inti - I'm not convinced this is needed these days, but Wraparound is really expensive for Mammon to break. It might help vs. small Barriers, too.

I don't promise that it is a great deck, but I have had some fun with it. I welcome your feedback and thoughts about how to develop an Adam for a post-rotation meta.

Seems like a good idea to use Mammon with Multithreaderi since you can store counters using Dr. Lovegood & use Multithreader to add counters.

You are spoiling my secret tech.

What deck building requirements are you using? If it is post-rotation, you can still use Overmind. If it is Cache refresh, then you can't include Dirty Laundry in an Adam deck.

@Gaff- An earlier version was built for Cache Refresh, but this is built with the current card pool. However, it will not become invalid when rotation hits. Overmind remains in the pool after rotation but e3 does not. Without e3, I think Overmind gets taxed out pretty hard in the current meta.

Plascrete will not be in the card pool when rotation hits.

@Gaff - Yes. That is a fairly simple swap or drop for a new card. The heart of your breaker suite (Overmind/e3 vs. Mammon/Multithreader) is not. This is not a 100% post-rotation build, but it is one that will require only small tweaks after rotation. I'm not even sure you really want Plascrete. Sports Hopper is probably a better card anyway.

Like I wrote in the description, it is not a perfect list. Thanks for the questions, though.
