I played the cookiecutter pawnshop noise for quite a while and kinda got bored of it. I tried something else, but it's pretty hard to make room for enough econ and viruses. This kind of deck is more succesful if you straight up swap the identities for whizzard; reina or even Kim and cut the imps for liberated accounts. It was an experiment. |
As someone who plays a lot of Faust Noise, I would suggest cutting Career Fair for Cache and Aesop's Pawnshop. Cache offers economy with a free mill, and can be recovered with Déjà Vu when you are also grabbing a Parasite or Imp.
Aesop's can target D4v1d, Imp, and Cache when their tokens run out turning old dead programs into fresh credits. Aesop can also grab an extra credit off of Daily Casts when it is down to 2 credits.
To become MWL compliant, I cut Levy AR Lab Access for Trope. Trope plays differently, only bringing back your best cards from the heap in the mid or late game instead of recurring your entire heap, but I do like that I can get the maximum impact out of it. Unfortunately, it eats up an MU. This is less of an issue when running Grimoire instead of Turntable, but that is really up to you. I also like Grimoire for the extra Cache and Imp tokens, and the accelerated Para-Sucker.
I haven't been running the cutlery events, but I have no intention of discouraging an anarch from killing ICE. I would only ask how many barriers are problematic for you as compared to sentries or high-strength code gates (like Archangel or Wormhole).
If you do cut down on the number of events, you may consider Street Peddler for instant-speed installs on the run at a discount (which kinda acts like card draw and econ) over Inject. Wyldside + Pancakes is a powerful draw engine, and I'd worry that Inject would likely draw 3 or 4 cards giving you 0-1 credits, which if you hare having slow econ issues, would likely force you to discard some cards.
Finally, if you want to be just like everyone else you can add Lamprey. Lamprey is a cheap mill, can drain corp econ with HQ runs, leaving the corp too poor to rez on other servers. If it stops working for you, Aesop will give you 3 credits for it.
